Thursday 14th July The Morning Show with Claire Darmody 10- 11am We spoke to Colum Eastwood, SDLP Live Leader and MLA Foyle about his thoughts on Theresa May and how he thinks she will handle Brexit and we asked Producer Claire Darmody, about Jennifer Annistons Huffington Post yesterday. We returned to our discussion about the disability transport access issues raised by a sunbeam house service user with John Hannigan of Sunbeam House and Councillor John Snell. . 11- 12pm Garda Declan Lynch joined us in studio to talk about all the latest crime and Mystic Celt chef Paul smith dropped in to use up leftovers and cut down on food waste. We are joined in studio by Bill Nelson who talks about the 70th anniversary of the djouce air crash and we are joined by Wicklow Comedian Danny O’Brien who will chat about his upcoming gig in the Mermaid Arts Centre.

We asked Dorothy Watson, ESRI about her research that shows how life is harder for people under 30, then those over 65. We also heard about back to school costs from Conor Pope, Pricewatch editor and we spoke to Carol Byrne who is searching for contestants for the Wicklow Regatta Queen competition. 11- 12pm We heard how to avoid disrupting sleeping patterns during the school holidays from Lucy Wolfe, Paediatric Sleep Consultant with Sleep Matters and we asked Louise Bayliss, Spark Campaigner about losing €15 per week from her lone parents allowance. Investigative Gemma O’Doherty Journalist talked about her documentary on Mary Boyle.

Tuesday 12th July The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We got the latest on the murder trial of an Arklow woman from Court Correspondent Frank Greaney and we were joined in studio by Steve McMahon, IPA who will give his reaction to the proposal to reduce trauma care in some hospitals. We talked again to Pamela Fowler from Sarcoma Action Group, living in Arklow who spoke with us last week about the loss of the only specialist Sarcoma doctor in the country from Vincents hospital. Annie Hoey, President USI spoke to us about student loan proposals and we asked Dr David Menzies member of IAEM and Accident and Emergency Department Consultant in St Vincents Hospital for his thoughts on that leaked report on trauma care 11- 12pm We spoke to Jennifer Tymlin from Rathnew about her daughter Poppy Mernagh, who got very sick late last month and has now got a serious condition which only affects 1 in 800,000. We asked Adrian Weckler, Technology Correspondent Irish Independent about the UTV Ireland buy-over by the group who already own TV3. Food writer Dee Laffin dropped in to talk about sourdough; how to know you are getting the real deal and why it’s so good for you and Producer Claire Darmody talked about the words and phrases most commonly used or said incorrectly and how old is too old to wear skinny jeans. We asked Lucy Masterson, Fundraising Ireland her view on the ongoing console issues and we were joined by local singer sean fox and his band small town crisis who will perform live and chat about being invited to perform at rose of Tralee.

We were joined in studio by Conor Saunders nutritional therapist who talked about Cannabis – it has been legalised in many states in America and has medical uses but also can cause psychosis, what should Ireland do about it and Quinton O’ Reilly, Tech Consultant from the Journal.ie spoke to us on the latest rumours on the new iPhone, is it going to lose its headphone port and what will that mean and why is snapchat changing what it does 11- 12pm Sinn Fein Deputy John Brady spoke on cut backs to trauma care in hospitals and Wicklow actor Pat Nolan dropped in as he takes to the stage of the Abbey Theatre to play the part Father Billy in the play ‘The Wake’. We asked Dr Nat O’Connor, lecturer in public policy in Ulster university and member of the living wage technical group about the living wage and Tony O’Donahoe, Head of Education and Social Policy, IBEC gave his reaction to on student loans
