We also had last minute preparation tips from Guidance Councillor Patricia Wroe in the last weekend before the state exams begin. 11am-midday Food writer Dee Laffin dropped by to talk about the importance of food safety particularly in the hot weather, we got the latest forecast from Met √Čireann for the Bank Holiday weekend and Hershal Shah, qualified Sommelier from Supervalu Bray dropped in with some of the best wines and craft beers to enjoy in the sun.

Harry Farrington who’s helping to organise the Hillbilly Tractor Run in Blessington spoke about on how the event is being threatened by another event taking place on the same weekend. Jillian Fitzpatrick, editor SHEmazing joined us on their survey that show that one in three young Irish women have experienced dating abuse. 11am-midday Paul Smith Mystic Celt chef dropped into us to talk about Summer foods. Our Holiday Doctor Joe Supple got us ready for the summer holidays and and offering important tips on how to avoid travel insurance pitfalls. Plus Pete the Vet dropped in to answer listeners pet questions.

We heard from Pat Devlin on Martin O Neill’s team selection for the Euro’s and Garda Declan Lynch spoke to Aengus about the current crime issues in the county. 11am-midday Laura Haugh from mummypages.ie joined us to talk about Summer holiday prep for the kids along with how delays at the passport office is panicking mums. Rachael Davies the Clinical Director of Remedy Pilates spoke about how to manage stress in busy life and we heard from Naoimh Penston on a gig taking place for The Penston Vocal Academy that’s on in the Arklow Bay Hotel this Friday evening.
