Science Man Sean Duke on Memory implants for the brain on the way, why Girls are more likely to become compulsive' 'texters' and suffer academically and he also talked about the astronaut twins who are key to future Mars manned mission and how half the world's population will be short-sighted by 2050. We also heard about world book day from Susan Walsh, Dubray books 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by Paul Smith the Mystic Celt Chef who talked about his 1916 menu and Laura Haugh, Mummy Pages.ie dropped in to ask if its ever ok to discipline someone else’s child. Charlie Weston, Personal Finance Editor talked about the implications of the setanta insurance court case and Pete the Vet spoke to a listener who was trying to track down his missing falcon.

We also asked Maureen Griffen of Wicklow right to water how she feels about their issue now being so high on the agenda and we asked Susan Philips, Political Analyst about super Tuesday. Patricia Wroe Guidance Counsellor dropped in to talk to us about studying in Europe. 11- 12pm We asked Dr Brendan Cuddihy about the latest news on the Wicklow Hospice following an announcement and Roughan McNamara advocacy and communications manager Focus Ireland gave us his reaction to the decision not persist with modular housing. Horticulturist Barry Doyle dropped in to give gardening advice and Seargent John Fitzpatrick drops in with local crime news. Local Author Amy Tierney dropped in with her debut novel 30 days hath September.

Damien Mulley Tech consultant on US ruling on Apple and Emma Hannigan drops in with her book ‘the perfect gift’

Connor Saunders, Nutritional Therapist dropped in to talk about toxins in our environment, water and food, esp, risks of heavy metals and where they might get into us with what effect and we asked Former Nova Broadcaster Dave Harvey to remind us of Chris Carey and the important part he played in irish broadcasting on the anniversary of his death 11- 12pm Michael Sargent and John Timmins Chair in Kiltegan football club (peter’s home club) paid tribute to Peter Keogh and Wicklow singer Naoimh Penston joined us with students from BIFE who perform from production of Shakespeare's 'As You Like It' which is on tomorrow to Friday in the Mermaid Arts Centre. We were also joined by Ciara Brehony and Aaron Keohane on attempting to establish a new model of secondary school and Childrens book and adult author sarah webb popped in on recommended reads and mountains to sea book festival
