Horticulturist Barry Doyle dropped in from Arboretum to give gardening advice in the frost and Shane Byrne, Former Rugby International chatted to us about this weekends Six Nations matches. 11am –midday Stephen Large, Dublin Services Manager, Threshold talked to us about issues around housing and homelessness that should be discussed with candidates for the general election and we were joined by Carol Tallon who chatted about training estate agent to help buyers and her view on the housing and construction issues that should be GE16 topics and ask Threshold the same. We asked Bressie about the other important event last night; the moving, silent ‘Anyones Brother’ vigil that took place outside the Dáil organised by family and friends of Caoilte O’Broin urging the Government and candidates to make a change to mental health policy and We are joined in studio by Seargent John Fitzpatrick with the latest on shankill sexual assaults. Fintan McCormick dropped in Greystones O’Briens with Valentines wine.

Juno McEnroe, Political Correspondent with the Irish Examiner gave his view on the campaign trail to date and we were joined in studio by Patricia Wroe Career Guidance counsellor pops in to talk about matriculation. We also spoke to listener Henry Jackson in Avoca about his missing heifer, gone since Saturday evening. 11am –midday We asked Seamus Bolan, Irish Rural Link about the issues that should be put to candidates; around rural crime, transport and we chatted to Comedian Alison Spittle ahead of her gig in the international bar. We asked Larry Donnelly Wicklow Native and Law Lecturer NUI galway about the latest on the primary’s and we asked Councillor Miriam Murphy who lives with a disability and Laura English, community development worker in the Dublin south Wicklow area Disability federation about the campaign being facilitated by the Disability Federation Ireland - Disable Inequality. It's encouraging people to only vote for candidates willing to prioritise the issues affecting people with disabilities.

We asked Dr Mark Murphy, GP in Dublin and Chair of Communications with ICGP (Irish College of General practioners) about worrying stats of type 2 diabetes and his view on sugar tax. We also chatted to Conor O’Leary, Purple House Cancer Support and our own Laura Wood from the Martello where they were making pancakes and raising money for purple house all day. 11am –midday Wicklow News.net Mick Kelly and Gareth Farrell, News Editor told us what they could on the search at Ballinagran dump and Kate Rowan Journalist and co-author of six nations two stories paid tribute to Paul O’Connell following the announcement of his retirement. Chef Siobhan Donnelly chatted to us about making pancakes and Jerry O’Connor, Immigrant Council of Ireland reminded us of the rock the vote campaign and the last day to register to vote. We asked Paul Williams about the latest gangland killing and if there is further reprisal expected and we were joined in studio by Classical Guitarist Eamon Sweeney who will perform live and chat about his valentines gig this weekend. We also heard further tribute to Paul O’Connell from Former Rugby International Shane Byrne. . Tom Curran dropped in to talk about the new Family Carers Ireland (a result of the merger of the carers association and caring for carers) which will be launched tomorrow morning at 11am and Wicklow based Psychotherapist Richard Bury drops in to tlak about dealing with every day anxiety 11am –midday We asked Dr David Menzies Medical Director, Wicklow Cardiac First Responders, to tell us about more unforgivable vandalism on first responders cardiac equipment and Tweeting goddess and co founder of social media summit Samantha Kelly joined us in studio to talk about how social media changed her life and the summit. We were also joined in studio by Wicklow 3rd class Student Emma Seckington who is a finalist in the doodle for google competition and we asked Tom Shortt, IFA County Chairman about the slaney meats protest. Donegal country singer Mikaela Bonner dropped in for a chat and to perform live.
