We were also joined by Blogger/broadcasters Barbara Scully and Rebecca Horan who will chat about their new years resolutions down the swanny if they even had them, the lady ball and unwanted comments on how you look

We discussed falling petrol prices with Conor Faughnan, Communications Officer AA and Sean Duke Science Man dropped in and told us why Dogs can read human emotions, how old lightbulbs could be on their way back and why man flu really is worse. He also talked about the DNA study that helps doctors identify children's 'mystery illnesses' and how Scientists believe North Korea H Bomb claim is false 11am –midday Chef Siobhan Donnelly dropped in to chat about clean eating trends and we heard about First Fortnight, a festival of events aimed at challenging mental health stigma from Nick Bryson who is involved in two bray based dance events. Race organiser Theo Phelan talks to us about the launch of the Wicklow round Ireland yacht race and Producer and Friends Fanatic Claire Darmody gave us her reaction to the planned Friends reunion panel.

We asked Seamus Hussey Paediatric Gastroenterology Consultant about Crohns and IBD in children, the reason for the rise in rates and Music fanatic and listener Mick Lynch told us about meeting David Bowie and gave his view on the Eurovision. 11- 12pm We followed up on reports of illegal dumping and abandoned carcasses with Ian Davis, Pure Project and Dickie Rock dropped in to talk about the return of the showband era and give his experienced view on Nicky Byrne as the choice for Eurovision. We were joined by Laura Haugh from Mummy Pages who will give parenting advice and tips on how you can reduce the sugar in your childs diet and we discussed how beneficial Music Therapy can be for older people and children with special needs witn Phillie O’Donahoe and Leslie Jebarra -wren From North Wexford Music School

Tuesday 12th January The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We heard about a new app designed to provide information about Wicklows commemorations for 1916 from Catherine Wright, County Archivist who chose and organised the content and Shane Byrne, show-off who took care of the design. We were joined in studio by Mark Felton from Felton McKnight solicitors who talked about the long overdue Mental Capacity legislation which was signed into law by the President on the 30th December 2015. He told us how this new legislation will have significant implications for all of us. We asked Niall O’Connor, Political Correspondent, Irish Independent about the election date, the parties getting ready and repeal the 8th. 11- 12pm Successful Actor Glen Gannon joined us in studio to talk about his book from homeless to Hollywood, which documents his remarkable journey of being homeless to becoming a successful movie actor and we were joined by reps from David Doyle IADT , Joe Collins, Head of Lifelong Learning Carlow IT and Louise Fortune Bray Institute of Further Education to talk about CAO options. We were also joined in studio by Paul Byrne from the greystones guide who talked about a photograph exhibition in greystones ‘the Greystones Walk of Fame’ which pays tribute to Bridie Mooney and a bowie tribute night and Frank Allen who organised the Arms Around Moore Street campaign, dropped in to talk about the threat to the famous Dublin street.

We asked Kenneth Matthews, CEO of Irish Wind Energy Association on the pros and cons of wind energy and Jill Kerby personal finance journalist talked about her latest edtion of the Tab Guide to money, pensions and tax. 11- 12pm Colm O’Hare Music Journalist paid tribute to David Bowie and Business and life coach Marian Byrne dropped in to talk about adding years to life. Dr Eva Orsmonde spoke to us ahead of her programme tonight ‘sugar crash’ Eva investigates Irelands sugar use and the looks at the links to serious disease and Karlin Lillington, irish times tech columnist discussed about the difficulties buying stuff online from UK retailers
