Tuesday 12th January The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We heard about a new app designed to provide information about Wicklows commemorations for 1916 from Catherine Wright, County Archivist who chose and organised the content and Shane Byrne, show-off who took care of the design. We were joined in studio by Mark Felton from Felton McKnight solicitors who talked about the long overdue Mental Capacity legislation which was signed into law by the President on the 30th December 2015. He told us how this new legislation will have significant implications for all of us. We asked Niall O’Connor, Political Correspondent, Irish Independent about the election date, the parties getting ready and repeal the 8th. 11- 12pm Successful Actor Glen Gannon joined us in studio to talk about his book from homeless to Hollywood, which documents his remarkable journey of being homeless to becoming a successful movie actor and we were joined by reps from David Doyle IADT , Joe Collins, Head of Lifelong Learning Carlow IT and Louise Fortune Bray Institute of Further Education to talk about CAO options. We were also joined in studio by Paul Byrne from the greystones guide who talked about a photograph exhibition in greystones ‘the Greystones Walk of Fame’ which pays tribute to Bridie Mooney and a bowie tribute night and Frank Allen who organised the Arms Around Moore Street campaign, dropped in to talk about the threat to the famous Dublin street.
