Friday 25th September The Morning Show with Aengus Cox 10- 11am Michelle McGlynn, Wicklow Voice and East Coast fm Newsreporter Michelle MacMullan joined us to review the papers and we spoke to Former Rugby International Shane Byrne ahead of Sundays match and heard a review of the world cup so far. We were joined in studio by Holiday Doc Joe Supple with a list of good value deals and we spoke to Eva O’Hara from Loreto Bray ahead of her talk at the Le Touche Legacy weekend in Greystones Golf Club this evening. 11- 12pm It is national adult literacy week and we were joined in studio by Niamh Maguire and adult learner Tanya Byrne from Bray Adult Learning Centre who spoke about her experience and Fintan McCormick joined us from O’Briens wines in Greystones with some weekend vino. We spoke to Leon Blanche, Boyle sports about the rugby world cup and Irish singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Leo O’Kelly dropped in to chat about this weekends’ Dun Laoghaire Tribute Music Festival

We also spoke to Science man Sean Duke about how Star Trek style space travel moves a step closer to reality and why Modern parenting may hinder brain development 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by Donnellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly who gave us tasty pasta dish recipes including a creamy sauce which isn’t fattening and Singer Aaron James dropped in to perform live and chat. Pete the vet also dropped in to answer your pet related queries and Pat bracken Director of corporate services with the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) talked to us about carbon monoxide awareness week and the importance of ensuring your alarm is properly certified.

Wednesday 23rd September The Morning Show with Aengus Cox 10- 11am We spoke to Technology consultant Damien Mulley about the end of the web summit in Ireland and Anne-Marie Caulfield, Director of the PRTB told us about the recent dramatic rise in rent. We were also joined in studio by Gerry Ginty, CEO and Co-Founder Powerscourt Distillery who talks about his plans to a .construction of a craft distillery and visitor centre at Powerscourt Estate, a 10m investment that will create 30 jobs in the construction phase and 18 full-time jobs once the business is fully operational and Sunbeam House MD John Hannigan along with some family members of people with Intellectual Disabilities dropped in to talk about their life supporting a person and their views/concerns for the future, the positives that have come from the person they are supporting. 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by local singer Robbie Doyle who performed liVe, chatted about his new single and gigging with Brian McFadden and we checked in at the ploughing championships with Wicklow business woman Amy Sherwin who is there her 3D Activity greeting card business Popzle. We were also joined in studio by Barry and Rachel Doyle from Arboretum in Kilquade with gardening advice and Food writer Dee Laffan gave us her reaction to Jamie olivers top 14 foods to eat if you want to live longer.

Tuesday 22nd September The Morning Show with Aengus Cox 10- 11am We spoke to Niall O’Connor, Political Correspondent with the Irish Independent about the first day of the final term of the Dáil and what we can expect from it and we got reaction to the planned public water forum from Sharon Briggs, Founder of Bray and Enniskerry Right2Water. We also spoke to Caroline McGuigan, Founder of Suicide or Survive about the charity and their plans for the remainder of September; suicide awareness month and we heard about great Irish connections to the winner of the People’s Choice at the Toronto Film Festival; an award that can often name the best film winner at the Oscars from our Film and TV Consultant Tess Drea. 11- 12pm With the 84th National Ploughing Championships beginning today, we spoke to Tom Shortt, Chairman of Wicklow IFA from there about what people can expect and challenges facing the County’s farmers and we spoke to Conor Faughnan, AA about Gardai campaign for compulsory additional safety kit for all drivers, we also asked about the rising number of cars on the road and finally got a comment on the VW story. A legal loophole emerged yesterday that will mean that hundreds of people almost escaped drink driving charges, we ask David Labanyi of the Irish times and we were joined singer Jamie Harrison to perform live and chat about his single ‘if only knew your name’ which was recorded in the Legendary Grouse Lodge Studios with Grammy Award- winning producer Ken Nelson.

Monday 21st September The Morning Show with Aengus Cox 10- 11am We discussed the rent trap that finds tenants paying almost €2,500 more than homebuyers with Money Doctor John Lowe and we heard about the big winners and surprises from last nights’ Emmy awards from Entertainment Editor for the Irish Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday Eoin Murphy. We got reaction to the first weekend of the Rugby World Cup from Former Rugby International Shane Byrne and we were joined in studio by Berna Fidan who reminds us of the story of her missing sister Esra. 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by Former Miss World, model and nutritional therapist Rosanna Davison who chats about her book eat yourself beautiful and we spoke to DJ David Earls about his upcoming fundraiser; a Concert in St. Patricks Church Wicklow this Friday night as a fundraiser for the Church Funds. Lots of local artists are taking part voluntarily. We heard advice for students seeking accommodation from Kevin Donaghue, President of the USI and we were joined in studio by comedian Adam Burke ahead of his appearance at a charity gig in the Martello next weekend.
