Friday 18th September The Morning Show with Michelle McMullan 10- 11am We were joined in studio by Graham O’Neill, Wicklow Voice and Mick Kelly, Wicklow News.net to review the papers and talk about the big stories of the week in Wicklow and we spoke to Gabriel Dooley, Dooley Auctioneers who talked about Wicklow property market and the positive view in todays Irish Times Property supplement . We spoke to former rugby international Shane Byrne ahead of the start of the Rugby world cup. Also, tonight is culture night around the country and Wicklow has over 36 events taking place, one of which is in Bray Library tonight with Author of Taking Heaven Lightly; Roisin Fitzpatrick who popped in to talk about what can be expected tonight 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by Irish Times Wine Correspondent John Wilson to talk wine for the weekend; today was Chilean and we were joined by Wicklow woman Leanne Quigley who shared her experience with a rare form of leukaemia, several surgeries and coming out well on the other side, as part of childhood cancer awareness month she wants to let people know the challenges facing young people with the illness. Former GAA Player turned piano player Kieran Quinn also dropped in to perform live.

With our own coffee morning well underway here in East Coast fm, we spoke to Evanne Cahill from the Wicklow Hospice Foundation about what the National event means for our hospice and we were joined in studio by Comedian Dave Young ahead of his appearance in the hotspot in Greystones tomorrow night. 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by Chef Siobhan Donnelly who will gave us healthy one pot recipes and with Christmas less than 100 days away and being such a busy time for proposals and engagements we were joined in studio by Gemologist Sophie Collins from True Diamonds by Sophie, Sophie spoke about the current trends for rings, ethically sourced diamonds and cultural differences with diamond & ring choice. Singer Megan O’Neill also joined us to talk about her songs being placed in hit TV show Nashville, playing at JJ Abrams’ Oscar Party and her video for new single Coming Home which was shot in LA last month –and we hear her latest single Coming Home and Pete the vet answered your pet related questions. We were also joined in studio by John Hannigan, MD Sunbeam house and Service users sarah and Stephen who talked about the challenges of living with an intellectual disability. 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by Leigh and Ashley Williams from Wicklow Brewery who talked about a recent award they won and brought some beer to taste and we were joined in studio by Garda Declan Lynch for news on local recent crimes incidents. Natasha Gleeson, Lloyds Pharmacy talked to us about an upcoming irish hospice foundation fundraising event they are doing this weekend and we were joined in studio by Gun, who are releasing a single, a new take on every 1s a winner; all proceeds are going to Marie Curie foundation and they also performed in studio. Monday 14th September The Morning Show with Michelle MacMullan 10- 11am We spoke to Justin Moran, Age Action Ireland about the planned €115 Christmas Bonus for pensioners; we asked if it makes a difference or is just a popularity plea and on the morning U2 Tickets went on sale to sell out in record time; we asked Eoin Murphy Entertainment Editor for the Irish Daily and Mail on Sunday what we can expect from the Dublin dates and to remind us of past concerts. We also spoke to Billy Timmons about Rea Nua think-in last week and his upcoming meetings in Bray and Arklow this week and Award winning celebrity gardener Diarmuid Gavin dropped in to talk about his fundraising gardening event on 24th September in Arboretum Garden Centre in Kilquade. It’s in aid of a young man Shane Vickers. Shane is a local Kilmacanogue man and GAA Star and last year was in a road accident in which he was struck by a car whilst he was walking home. Our Producer Claire Darmody joined us to fill us in on how she got on at the Tinahely walking challenge for pieta house over the weekend, and we got her thoughts on celeb bb 11- 12pm We spoke to local travel writer Mary Dinan for an update on Eva Sutton, the 90 year old Bray woman who was savagely beaten and burgled last week and unfortunately we stayed with local unpleasant incidents then when we spoke to Simon Taylor is the Blessington Community First Responder Coordinator who tells us about a PAD (Public Access Defibrillator) being vandalized and we were joined in studio by Conor Saunders, Nutritional Therapist who talks about nutritional therapy awareness week. We were also joined in studio Aisling Keenan Deputy Editor Xpose Magazine who filled us on the 3 questions you should ask yourself to change your life and why everyone is talking about cheryls weight and we were joined in studio by Wicklow Musicians Paul Coates and Fergal Canterbury and their band the chosen few who will launch a CD of original songs this Friday night in fitzpatricks lounge in Wicklow; all proceeds to raise funds for Wicklow Cancer Support the lads performed live and filled us in on the CD and why they chose to do it for Wicklow Cancer Support
