Friday 4th September The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We were joined in studio by Mary Fogarty, Bray People, Mick Kelly, Wicklow News.net and Graham O’Neill, Wicklow Voice for a review of the papers and the big stories in the county this week and Award winning and best-selling Author Louise O’Neill joined us in studio to talk about her new honest and important book ‘Asking for it’ 11- 12pm Firm favourite from Sunday night Sport on East Coast fm; Peter Keogh dropped in as our Friday guest to talk about his life, career and sports in Wicklow and we spoke to music journalist Stuart Clarke from electric picnic. We heard about a march for Housing taking place from the Parade Ground at 2pm in Arklow tomorrow from Sinn Fein Councillor Mary Mc Donald and Rea Nua Deputy Billy Timmons gave us his view on what needs to be done by us on the Syrian refugees.

Seamus Boland CEO of Irish Rural Link on the refugee crisis that's hitting Europe and if rural Ireland could be part of the solution. We also heard from Gail Dunne on how Wicklow GAA was effected by emigration during the recession. John Brady, Sinn Fein councillor joined us to see how the vacant building programme is helping the main street in Bray and we heard from Rory Banville of the Bray Chamber on how they see it improving the area. Our cool scientist Sean Duke dropped in to answer those nerdy science questions.

11- 12pm

We heard from the mystic chef Paul Smith about hygiene in the kitchen, Pete the Vet dropped in to tell us about compulsory microchipping that's begun in Ireland and we had music from CC Smugglers, who are playing Whelan's this evening.

10- 11am Niall O Connor joined us about the Fennelly report publicationand Michael Fingleton’s appearance before the banking inquiry. Donal O Sullivan, solicitor with DM O Sullivan and associates from Arklow spoke to Declan about the court in the town being made a centre for excellence in dealing with mortgage arrears. We also heard from Sheillagh resident Jillian Godsil on her experience of loosing her house.Margaret Byrne from Purple House in Bray spoke to us about their latest fundraising initiative that's taking place this weekend. on what the service offers.

11- 12pm Dr. Ernan Gallagher spoke to Declan about the introduction of a vaccine for meningitis B for children by the HSE. We had music from Aine Cahill and we heard from technology expert Damien Mulley, why Instagram are changing what types of photos are allowed on it and what we’re expecting from the Iphone 6s when it's announced next week.

10- 11am Shane Byrne of TV3 joined us on the announced line up of the Irish team for the rugby world cup while Barry Malone, - online editor with Al Jazeera English and based in Doha spoke to Declan onthe use of the word migrant in the current border crisis in Europe.Stephen Wynne Jones editor of Checkout magazine joined us to on the top 100 brand in Ireland over the past year and we had music from Mike Scala

11- 12pm Law lecturer Larry Donnolly on the dropping of murder charges against Irish nanny Aisling Mc Carthy in America joined us on the programme. World kickboxing champion and Bray resident Julie McHale droped into us and we heard from Kilcoole author Ann O Loughlin on conquering the world of online book selling

10- 11am We began the programme by speaking to Justin Moran from Age Action Ireland on the potential of the free travel pass being restricted during peak times. We heard about Wicklow Town's rating in the latest IBAL Litter League survey. Career guidence expert Patricia Wroe spoke to Declan about the options available to those starting college and those who mightn't have got what they were looking for in the CAO offers. 11- 12pm We heard from Austin Prior about addiction and about the recovery walk that he is organising. We also heard from Aslan's Christy Dignam about the road to recovery. Rory Kinnane principal of the new Greystones Community National School joined us as they open their doors for the first time tomorrow and we had music from Monster Monster
