Niall O’Connor, Political Corresponent Irish Independent spoke to us about the reaction by TD’s to Enda Kenny refusing to act on pension increases for former Ministers and we were joined in studio by Councillor Pat Vance and we also spoke to Former Bray Wanderers Manager Alan Matthews about the current confusing situation with the club. Science Man Sean Duke dropped in to tell us why some people age three times faster than others, how good looking people get away with more and about a new cystic fibrosis drug.

We spoke to Councillor Pat Kavanagh about the issue of smell from the waste treatment plant in Wicklow Town and we were joined in studio by Travel writer turned author Muriel Bolger who chatted about her book ‘Out of Focus’. Ian Davis, Pure Project joined us in studio to talk about illegal dumping in Wicklow and their Multi Media Environmental Awareness exhibition which is launching this Sunday in Courthouse Arts Centre. Pete the vet dropped in to talk to give pet care advice and speak to one of our lisenters and how she dealt with mice following his advice.

Yesterday a video was released by Emma Murphy, a young mother of two about her experience of violence and mental abuse at the hands of her partner, this footage has already had over 5 million views, we spoke to Linda Smith Manager of Womens Aids’ national free phone helpline about women in Emma’s position and we spoke to Paul O’Hehir, Soccer Correspondent about Bray Wanderers and John Lowe, the Money Doctor talked to us about back to school costs crippling families, in some cases to the level they will go without food. Fiach Moriarty also joined us in studio to peform his new single live.
11- 12pm
Broadcaster Barbara Scully popped in to talk about teenager parenting during the long summer months and Garda Declan Lynch joined us in studio to talk about recent crime incidents. Bill Porter talked to us about the Rathdrum running festival taking place from tomorrow in aid of the Wicklow Hospice Foundation and we speak to Stephen Witt, Author of how the music got free.

Irish Times Pricewatch Editor Conor Pope talked to us about what it will mean for consumers if the UK leave the EU and how to save costs on holidays the cheap and we were joined in studio by Eric Dempsey, the Bird man who chatted about birdlife in County Wicklow. Camille O’Sullivan joined us in studio ahead of her Mermaid Gig and Holiday doc Joe Supple dropped in on his return from Tunisia to tell us about his last few days there after the tragic events.
