Friday 29th May The Morning Show with Shane Byrne 10- 11am We were joined by Mick Kelly, Wicklow News and Graham O’Neill, Wicklow Voice for a look at todays papers and the big stories of the week in Wicklow and we spoke to Donal Gleeson, Golf Pro for Old Conna Golf Club about Rory’s bad start yesterday in the Irish Open taking place across the weekend in the Royal County Down Golf Club. Fine Gael TD Andrew Doyle gave us his reaction to Brittas Bay North losing their Blue Flag and we were also joined by East Coast FM News Editor Gareth Farrell for more on that story and We heard about the monopoly championships taking place in Wicklow Gaol this weekend Eoghan Mac Cormaic from Glor na nGael 11- 12pm Author, Journalist and TV personality Amanda Brunker joins us in studio to talk about adding Playwright to her CV and her debut play and also fills us in on her trilogy of Bonkbuster novels being made into audiobooks and Fintan joined us from O’Briens Wines in Greystones with some wines for the weekend. We also chatted to Reggie Corrigan head of the Guiness Pro 12 final this weekend and Paul O’Connells announcement that he will be heading to Toulon after the World Cup and we were joined in studio by Claire Darmody, founder & organiser of the Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning and also representatives from the 5 cancer support centres in County Wicklow the Wicklow Hospice Foundation to pass cheques over. We were also reminded listeners where the money you gave and raised so generously on April 17th will go and how it will be spent to help people.

Science man Sean Duke also dropped in to tell us how your Facebook status updates unmask those with low esteem and narcissism, how People with similar views mimic each other's speech and about Robots that recover from injury in less than two minutes and Fr Michael Murtagh told us about a family fun cycle or walk/jog that takes place this Sunday to raise money for fr Michaels charity in southern india (Nandri.org empowering families) starting from Árus Lorcáin at 1.30p.m 11- 12pm Psychotherapist Liz Quish joined us in studio to talk about her book 'Overcoming Self-Harm and Suicidal Thoughts' - a practical quide for the adolescent years and fantastic folk/pop singer Lisa Canny dropped in to perform live and chat about her debut single. Wednesday 27th May The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am Niall O’Connor, Irish Independent Political Correspondent and Journalist Barbara Scully talked to us about the decision to sell Aer Lingus and we spoke to Tom Shortt, County Chairman IFA about farm safety report discussed during yesterdays Seanad. Lorraine Dempsey from Special Needs Parents Association and Inclusion Ireland also joined us to talk about disability awareness for businesses and the public, disabled parking and introducing a new campaign for fully accessible wheelchair toilets with changing space to make going out easier for people with disabilities and Patrick McCarry from Joe.ie gave us what details he could on FIFA arrests. 11- 12pm We spoke to Gardener Hugh Ryan from Aughrim about showcasing his garden ‘Footfall’ at Bloom and Philip Nolan, Travel Writer with Mail on Sunday gave us his view on the Aer Lingus sale. Food Writer Dee Laffin dropped in to chat on the food aspects of the Bloom festival and Aoife Griffen advocacy and communications manger ISPCC spoke to us about corporal punishment and slapping children. Sophie Mutley, Director of Jockey also joined us in studio to talk about the play which is on in the Mermaid Arta Centre on Thursday 28th May and we heard a live performance from Jess and the Bandits – Darren and alex ahead of their gig at The Zodiac Sessions at Bruxelles on Harry St in Dublin. Starts circa 9.30pm

10- 11am We heard from Irish Independent journalist Niall O Connor on the departure from Fianna Fáil of Averil Power and were joined by Councillor Pat Casey about it too. Doctor Annie Donna, president of IADT and board member of the Irish Film Board spoke about her memory of Bill O Herlihy and his commitment to the the Irish film industry. Author Martina Reilly spoke to Declan about her book ‘That Day In June' and our business editor Vincent Wall joined us about the sale of Aer Lingus. 11- 12pm Michelle Mc Mullen spoke to Declan following her trip to El Salvador Amnesty International is trying to free women who've been locked up for having miscarriages in their country. Michelle examined how their fight overlaps with calls to change Ireland's own abortion laws and we had live music in studio from Colm Mac Con Iomaire.

The Morning Show with Declan Meehan
10- 11am Dave Thomas from Arlow and his partner Patrick Bracken joined Declan on the programme after the passing of the marriage referendum and what it means for them. In the end Patrick then proposed live on air to Dave, and Dave said yes! Following on from that Simon Harris spoke about the results in the referendum along with plans to force banks to reduce their variable mortgages rates. Bray resident Sara Hamilton joined Declan to tell her story on how she is paying more for her mortgage with Permanent TSB due to this. 11- 12pm Marian Byrne our parenting coach spoke to Declan about how parents need to be able to look after themselves so that they can look after their children and we had live music from Na Leanai. Campaign Director of Yes Equality Wicklow Ian McGahon joined us in studio to acknowledge the result in the referendum and Susan Philips who opposed the referendum gave her thoughts following its passing.
