Friday 30th April The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am Barry Kenny, Irish Rail talked to us about their busy morning and day due to the Dublin Bus and Bus strike and we were joined in studio by Mick Kelly Wicklow News.net and Mary Fogarty, Bray People who reviewed the newspapers. Basil Miller talked to us about the decision of Greystones Municipal District to exclude fast food restaurants from 400 metres within a school and Music Journalist Jackie Hayden also dropped in to talk about his book on Bob Dylan. Paul Clarke spoke to us about a vintage car rally this weekend. 11- 12pm Dave Byrne, Director of Underground Cinema spoke to us about this weekends’ Drive-in Cinema in Roundwood and Broadcaster, Psychoanalyst and Author Michael Murphy dropped in to studio to chat about his Pavaillion show tomorrow night. Donellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly joined us in studio to share tex mex recipes. Thursday 30th April The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to a Greystones girl Charlotte Toner in Darjeeling bordering nepal, Charlotte is interning at an NGO called the Edith Wilkins Street Children Foundation and Holiday Doctor Joe Supple dropped in to give us value holiday deals. Dermot O’Leary General secretary NBRU discussed the bus strike tomorrow and Eugene Finnegan, Finnegans Buses joined us in studio also to discuss the bus strike. 11- 12pm Pete the vet dropped in to talk about dog bites and we heard about Lap the Lake in Blessington in aid of diabetes Ireland from Dr Anna Clarke head of health promotion Diabetes Ireland. Cork based singer songwriter Paul Tiernan joined us in studio to perform live ahead of his Odessa club gig tonight and we were joined in studio by Dr Patrick Devitt who will talk about his book ‘Suicide – A Modern Obsession, described by Harry Barry as a deeply insightful journey into the dark heart of suicide

Tuesday 28th April The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am Ann Mooney The Irish Sun spoke to us from Cork ahead of Karen Buckleys funeral this afternoon and we spoke to Dave Cutler founder of The Umbrella Foundation about the situation in Nepal where his charity is based and he reminded us what they do and how we can help. We returned to the discussion on gorse fires with Pat Dunne, IFA National hill Committee Chairman and Dermot Goode, Totalhealthcover.ie talks to us about picking a plan ahead of the penalty. We also spoke to Tony Heffernan about his charity Bumbleance and their fundraising table quiz in O’Reillys Pub in Sandymount this Thursday 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by Jackie O’Toole from Wicklow Dementia Friendly Group who told us about the great work they have been doing across the County and their plans to come to Greystones and Bray next and we heard about May Day taking place this weekend to fundraise for the RNLI from John and Liz Bermingham. We also heard about a spectacular meteorite witnessed by our own Ryan O’Neill and he wasn’t the only one, David Moore, Astronomy Ireland filled us in on the hundreds of sightings that have been reported to them since Sunday and Paddy Donohoe, the winner of the voice of Ireland joined us in studio to perform live and chat about winning.
