Friday 3rd April The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am Mary Fogarty, Bray People and Mick Kelly, Wicklow news joined us in studio to review todays Newspaper and the main Wicklow stories of the week and Arklow Parish Priest Fr Martin Cosgrove on Easter message and services. Singer Songwriter Rory Gallagher joined us in studio to perform live 11- 12pm Producer Claire Darmody joined us in studio to talk about the 7th East Coast fm Wicklow Wide coffee morning for the 5 Wicklow Cancer Support Centres and Wicklow Hospice Foundation on April 17th and Science man Sean Duke joined us in studio to tell us why google makes us think we are smarter then we are, why we like chococlate so much and more. We were joined in studio by Riva and John from new Wicklow based company Blackcastle Drinks about making soft drinks that take inspiration from an Irish childhood and starting a new business and John Lowe joined us not as the money doctor but as the lead singer in the 3 Buddies, a Buddy Holly tribute band, John was joined by band mates Jay Malone and Dave Fleming. Pete the vet also talked about why chocolate is bad for your dog and Music Journalist Colm O’Hare paid tribute to fellow music writer George Byrne who passed away last night after a short illness.

Denis O’Connor, Chairman of Bray Wanderers also talked to us about Alan Matthews and others resigning. Ciara Leahy from Irish Country Living told us which easter egg won the blind taste test and Natasha Fennell joined us in studio to talk about her book The Daughterhood, the good, the bad and the guilty of mother-daughter relationships 11- 12pm Pete Brennan, Beatles Ireland payed tribute to Cynthia Lennon and Award winning Bray native but internationally known artist Rasher dropped in to studio ahead of his exhibition in the Dean Hotel this weekend for more see www.rasher.ie Donnellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly also popped in with advice on cooking Spring Lamb and more chocolatey treat-type dishes and Mary Healy, Chocolate garden of Ireland talked to us about this busy time of year for them and easter eggs. Anne Gregory, Anne Gregory Bridal Design joins us in studio to talk about bridal dress for different sizes and curvier women and a wedding event she is holding around that next weekend where she will accept donations for the East Coast FM Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning Fund raising money for 5 cancer support centres in County Wicklow and the Wicklow Hospice Foundation and we spoke to Colin Stafford Johnsonn TV Broadcaster/camera man with RTE Living the Wildlife about his programme on badgers last night and upcoming programme on Red Kites 11- 12pm Alison Healy, Irish Times Food and Farming Correspondent spoke to us about the end milk quotas and a new badger study in Wicklow and Laura Haugh, Mummy pages.ie joined us in studio to give advice on keeping the kids happy and busy over the Easter holidays on a budget and changeable weather and her view on taking kids out of school outside holiday time. Food Writer Dee Laffan also dropped in with top 5 Easter eggs, things to do with leftover chocolate and foodie events over Easter break and Charlie Weston, Personal Finance Editor spoke to us about mortgage variable rates.
