Friday 23rd January The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to Court Reporter Francesca Cumin about the first day details of the Elaine O’Hara murder trial and we were joined in studio by Mary Fogarty, Bray People to review the Morning papers. We also spoke to Paul Williams, Crime Correspondent, Irish Independent about Garda Adrian Donohoe and what has been done since his murder 2 years ago and Michael Mordaunt, Head Fundraiser, Arklow RNLI told us about their annual fundraiser ‘Hurry to the Curry’ taking place in Arklow Bay Hotel tonight from 8pm. 11- 12pm We spoke Sean Murphy, Deputy CEO Retail Excellence about how much he spent over Christmas and we were joined in studio by New Wicklow Manager Johnny Magee who talked about his plans for the future of the team. We were also joined in studio by Vet Pete Wedderburn who answered your text questions and Singer Songwriter Kurtis Wade dropped in to perform live.

We also spoke to Dermot Goode, Health Cover Analyst with totalhealthcover.ie and Science Man Sean Duke dropped in to tell us why women really ARE more emotional than men, why the modern world, and its technology, is bad for our brain and how our success at work is strongly linked to our partners. 11- 12pm We heard the latest from the Investigation into Air Asia Crash from John Leahy, Former Chief Pilot, British Airways and we heard about the latest on-line scam and how to avoid it from Grace Duffy, Press and Communications Officer, European Consumer Centre. We were joined in studio by Holiday Doctor Joe Supple who gave his value sunshine deals and Local Garda Declan Lynch dropped in to give details on recent incidents around Wicklow. We heard what quantitative easing is and how it will effect Europe and us from Finance Professor Brian Lucey, TCD

Wednesday 21st January The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We heard why Joan Burton could feel ‘on the ropes’ as Labour poll fears from Niall O’Connor, Political Correspondent and we spoke to Gay foster parent and Arklow LGBT Spokesperson Dave Thomas about the Government’s confirmation that they will ensure same sex couples will be able to adopt ahead of the gay marriage referendum. We were also joined in studio by Career Guidance Counsellor Patricia Wroe who gave advice for different ways into the CAO system, including for people with disabilities. 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by Mummy pages mum in residence Laura Haugh who talked about why over 50% of mums were reluctant to take their kids to A&E and why she thinks so many Mums are turning to parenting websites for diagnosis and we heard about Enduro Bike World Series taking place in Wicklow this May from organiser Niall Davies. We also heard how the mortgage loan cap may favour first-time buyers from local Auctioneer Gabriel Dooley and we were joined in studio by Hilda Roche who talked about 60th ICA Glenealy One-act Drama Festival starting tonight and continuing Friday 23rd –Sunday 25th.

We also spoke to Simon Moynihan, Bonkers.ie about Airtricity’s decision to pay its UK owner SSE a €70m dividend rather than pass on savings to Irish energy consumers and we were joined in studio by Health and Fitness Consultant Helen Walsh who talked about the phenomenon of Juicing and the pros and cons. 11- 12pm We spoke to Darragh Page, Inspector on drinking water team EPA about a report on drinking water and how Wicklow fared and we spoke to Dr Ella Arensman, Director of Research, National Suicide Research Foundation about the latest suicide statistics and were joined in studio by Margaret, who spoke about her experience losing her son Andrew to suicide 15 years ago and the Bray Suicide Support Group and how it can help, you can contact the group on 0867779868. Monday 19th January The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10-11am We spoke to Dave Thomas, Arklow LGBT about his thoughts on Leo Varadkars interview yesterday morning on Radio 1 and w spoke to Conor Pope, Consumer expert and Irish Times Pricewatch Editor about the cost of living dropping and keeping the the cost of telly down. We were also joined in studio by Nutritional therapist Conor Saunders who gave advice on nutritional approaches to good mental health: from regular stress we all feel to dealing with diagnosed mental illness. 11- 12pm We spoke to Sinn Fein Councillor John Snell to get an update on last weeks protests and arrests and we were joined in studio by the Classic Beatles who performed live ahead of their gig at the Harbour Bar tonight. We also spoke to Former Rugby International Shane Byrne about the weekends rugby and we were joined in studio by East Coast Physio Fiona Bradish who talked about returning or beginning exercise in the New Year and how to prevent injury.
