Thursday 22nd October The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11pm We spoke to Dermot O’Leary, General Secretary of NBRU and Barry Kenny, Irish Rail about tomorrows planned strike action and we spoke to Caitriona Gleeson, Communications and Programme Manager with Safe Ireland talks about how much more needs to be done around the area of domestic violence and their annual one day census which found that on November 4th 2014; 475 women and 301 children looked for refuge, 18 of whom were pregnant and 18 who were turned away. Science man Sean Duke also dropped in to tell us why we turn the clocks back every Autumn, why Men feel threatened by intelligent women and why First children are cleverer than their siblings. 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by the Elders ahead of their Arklow Bay Gig tonight and Stephen Donnelly gave us an update on his Syria collection and a related childrens art exhibition. Garda Declan Lynch and Garda Emma Skinner dropped in to talk about the youth Garda awards and we were joined in studio by Holiday Doc Joe Supple who talked travel gadgets and then Vet Pete Wedderburn talked gadgets for pets.
