The
show kicked off with a lively chat over the day’s papers with local journalists
Mick Kelly of Wicklownews.net and Mary Fogarty of the Bray People. Ex-Ireland
Rugby player and Arklow businessman Shane Byrne chatted to Declan ahead of the
weekend’s big Rugby fixture – Shane thinks Ireland should do the business in
the Pool D match against Italy.
The
Brohan Family of Jaconi Crafts dropped in for a chat – they are three
enterprising Wicklow kids who have started their own Minecraft business –
making merchandise based on YouTubers “skins” of Minecraft figures. Declan had
a quick call with Tenor Anthony Kearns who’s just performed for the Pope in the
US and is singing in the Grand Hotel tonight.

yummy desserts and filled Declan in on the Family Day and Apple Pie competition

Declan about their music and their upcoming gig in Mermaid Theatre, Bray
tomorrow Saturday. Paul Williams, Crime journalist with the Independent filled
Declan in on the latest on crime following the sentencing of raiders in the
aggravated burglary of the Corcoran family back in 2013. Larry Blanche from
