Monday 24th August The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We discussed the rise in electricity costs with Dermott Jewell, Consumer Association of Ireland and we spoke to Alex Roswell who is in Arklow right now but over from the UK to walk around Ireland to raise money for lifeboats. We also spoke to technological consultant Damien Mulley about Netflix price hikes, googles’ new HQ and jobs and spotify wanting too much info and we were joined in studio by Alan and Paula Connolly who talked about their daughters rare condition and their planned fundraiser in September; running The Ultimate fire & Glass walk on the 25th September in the Martello. 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by Ashford based Psychotherapist Richard Bury who talked about getting the right work life balance after reports last week that we are all working much more then we should be and we were joined in studio by Deirdre Burns, Heritage officer, Wicklow County Council about national heritage week and the events in Wicklow this week. Conor Pope, Pricewatch editor with the Irish Times also told us about the top 10 scams and what to watch out for we were joined in studio by third smoke who chatted and performed live.
