Friday 21st August The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We were joined by Mary Fogarty, Bray People, Mick Kelly, Wicklow News and Graham O’Neill, Wicklow Voice to review the papers and the big Wicklow stories of the week and the East Coast Physio Catherine Cradock dropped in to talk about the epidemic of shoulder pain at the moment and how our work environment and heavy handgbags or schoolbags aswell as bad posture may be adding to this. We also spoke to Conor O’Leary, from Purple House ahead of the great sumo run this Sunday and we also chat to our two East Coast fm participants Anne Kennedy and Ryan O’Neill. 11- 12pm We were also joined in studio by Second Coxswain Ciaran Doyle Wicklow RNLI who talked about a new book detailing the history of the lifeboat Station from 1857 to the present. ‘All Clear Let Her Go’ and Holiday Doc Joe Supple dropped in to fill us on the wild atlantic way and why its growing in global population as a destination and he revealed why Dublin was voted the friendliest city according to twitter poll. We also spoke to Karl Holmes, Golf Pro with Greystones Golf Club about Paul Dunne’s successful day at the amateur US Amateur Championship at the Olympia Fields and we were joined in studio by Philomena Breslin about an educational performance event on tomorrow at 11 am in Oaklands House Creative Centre. The aim of this launch is to promote a series of Classical Music programmes for Baby and Toddler and raise the benefits of exposing the young mind to Classical Composer's repertoires in that it is believed to boost concentration and self discipline general listening and social skills.
