Fine Gael TD Andrew Doyle gave us his reaction to Brittas Bay North losing their Blue Flag and we were also joined by East Coast FM News Editor Gareth Farrell for more on that story and We heard about the monopoly championships taking place in Wicklow Gaol this weekend Eoghan Mac Cormaic from Glor na nGael 11- 12pm Author, Journalist and TV personality Amanda Brunker joins us in studio to talk about adding Playwright to her CV and her debut play and also fills us in on her trilogy of Bonkbuster novels being made into audiobooks and Fintan joined us from O’Briens Wines in Greystones with some wines for the weekend. We also chatted to Reggie Corrigan head of the Guiness Pro 12 final this weekend and Paul O’Connells announcement that he will be heading to Toulon after the World Cup and we were joined in studio by Claire Darmody, founder & organiser of the Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning and also representatives from the 5 cancer support centres in County Wicklow the Wicklow Hospice Foundation to pass cheques over. We were also reminded listeners where the money you gave and raised so generously on April 17th will go and how it will be spent to help people.
