We returned to the discussion on gorse fires with Pat Dunne, IFA National hill Committee Chairman and Dermot Goode, Totalhealthcover.ie talks to us about picking a plan ahead of the penalty. We also spoke to Tony Heffernan about his charity Bumbleance and their fundraising table quiz in O’Reillys Pub in Sandymount this Thursday 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by Jackie O’Toole from Wicklow Dementia Friendly Group who told us about the great work they have been doing across the County and their plans to come to Greystones and Bray next and we heard about May Day taking place this weekend to fundraise for the RNLI from John and Liz Bermingham. We also heard about a spectacular meteorite witnessed by our own Ryan O’Neill and he wasn’t the only one, David Moore, Astronomy Ireland filled us in on the hundreds of sightings that have been reported to them since Sunday and Paddy Donohoe, the winner of the voice of Ireland joined us in studio to perform live and chat about winning.
