Thursday 9th April The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am Barry Kenny from Irish Rail joined us as the latest figures released show that train journeys are up on last year and about plans to introduce DARTs every 10 minutes. Councillors Tom Fortune and Irene Winters spoke to Declan about the purchase of land by county councils across the country, while our cool scientist Sean Duke told us about a gadget to change the traffic lights and how running a marathon makes you smarter

11- 12pm We heard about the lineup for The Groove Festival line up and Caroline Reid from the Irish Refugee Council spoke to Declan about plans by the Department of Education to allow asylum seekers to have reduced fees to attend college plus Pete the Vet dropped in for a chat.
