We spoke to a Greystones girl Charlotte Toner in Darjeeling bordering nepal, Charlotte is interning at an NGO called the Edith Wilkins Street Children Foundation and Holiday Doctor Joe Supple dropped in to give us value holiday deals. Dermot O’Leary General secretary NBRU discussed the bus strike tomorrow and Eugene Finnegan, Finnegans Buses joined us in studio also to discuss the bus strike.

Pete the vet dropped in to talk about dog bites and we heard about Lap the Lake in Blessington in aid of diabetes Ireland from Dr Anna Clarke head of health promotion Diabetes Ireland. Cork based singer songwriter Paul Tiernan joined us in studio to perform live ahead of his Odessa club gig tonight and we were joined in studio by Dr Patrick Devitt who will talk about his book ‘Suicide – A Modern Obsession, described by Harry Barry as a deeply insightful journey into the dark heart of suicide
