We were also joined in studio by a Marilyn O’Connor, service user of Greystones Cancer Support Centre who told of her experience of losing her husband to the illness after just 3 weeks of marriage and the writing group she is running to help others deal with grief, for more information see www.greystonescancersupport.comand we spoke to Elaine Burke, Managing Editor Silicon Republic on Samsung TV’s Gathering speech. 11- 12pm We spoke to James Fitzsimons tax consultant and financial advisor about how the average worker pays nearly three-quarters more tax today than they did before the financial crisis took hold and we heard about Wicklow being named 2ndin the top ten hot spots for romance from Sarah –louise Heslpop , Swizzels Marketing Manager and we spoke to Ailbhe Skay from hot spot music club greystones who told us about the over 35’s singles night she is running this weekend for Valentines Day in the Club We were also joined in studio by Hazel O’Connor and Cormac de Barra for a chat and perform live ahead of their Mermaid Gig this week.
