Thursday 11th December The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We heard reaction to yesterdays protest from Mick Clifford, Irish Examiner Columnist, Indepdendent Deouty Billy Timmons and Wicklow protestors who marched from Wicklow Town, Arkow and Enniskerry. We were also joined in studio by Science Journalist Sean Duke who told us why the human race must travel to space to survive according to Stephen Hawking and if the big bang created a parallel universe where time goes backward 11am-midday We heard how random acts of kindness can help diminish loneliness from Shane Kelly, Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and we were joined in studio by local Garda Declan Lynch who gave practical advice on protecting your house over Christmas period. We also heard about planning and booking New Years trips in and outside Ireland from Holiday Doctor Joe Supple. We were also joined in studio by Vet Pete Weddeburn debated the issue of the sale of puppies on the internet and we heard about a funny Christmas Jumper fundraiser taking place in aid of WH 5 loaves at Boomerang Bar on Tuesday 23rd December at 8pm.

Wednesday 10th December The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We heard reaction to last nights’ Shocking Prime Time Investigates from John Hannigan, MD Sunbeam House and Chairperson for the National Federation of Voluntary Bodies and we spoke to Gareth Philips, producer of Red Rock who told us all about the cast and plans for TV3’s new Soap Opera. We were also joined in studio by Patricia Wroe, Guidance Counsellor to discuss trends in the future of jobs and skills and heard How Parents Can help over the Christmas and into the New Year, their daughters/sons who are doing exams. 11am-midday We heard further reaction to the abuse of people with intellectual disabilities in Aras Attracter from Lorraine Dempsey, Chairperson Special Needs Parents Association and we caught up with two Wicklow water protestors at the March today. We were also joined in studio by Dee laffin, Food writer who talked about the tastiest and best value mince pies and the top brands that the Irish Diaspora miss and we spoke to John Holohan, Childline Appeal Project Manager about the possibility of Childline night service ending due to lack of funding.

Tuesday 9th December The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard from some of the Wicklow water protestors ahead of tomorrow National Protest and we were joined in studio by Money Watchdog John Diskin who talked about getting a mortgage in the new year. Niall O’Connor, Political Correspondent told us about the loophole who could get lots of peoples penalty points cancelled and we were joined in studio by Hazel Hodgkins from Hopkins Toymaster in Wickow Town who talked about this years top toys for boys and girls. 11am-midday •We were joined in studio by The Shoos who performed live and chatted about their new Christmas Single Christmas Time and we also spoke to more Wicklow water protestors. We also heard about rents spiralling and our house prices rising fastest in the world from Local Auctioneer Gabriel Dooley and we heard about the warearher warning from Met Eireann.

Monday 8th December The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard about higher penalty points being introduced for speeders from Conor Faughnan, AA and we spoke to Simon Moynihan, Bonkers.ie about energy prices being at their lowest in 4 years. We were also joined in studio by Robnert and Denise Hallam from 250KAL who talked about their new startup business and how and why they create tasty cakes and pastries with low calorie and sugar content but high taste content and we spoke to Donal Gleeson, Golf Pro at Old Conna Golf Club about Padraig Harrington’s success at the weekend. 11am-midday •We were joined in studio by Parenting Coach Marian Byrne who discussed generational diversity and not sweating the small stuff for Christmas and we were also joined by Liam Casey, Wicklow Area President for St Vincent DePaul who talked about the need for donations, the situation being met by Volunteers and why taking part in Give a Gift is so important for the people of Wicklow. We also heard reaction to Leinster loss at the weekend from Former Rugby International Shane Byrne and we were joijed in studio by Ger Gallagher about her comedy play Weighing In ahead of it appearing at the Mermaid Arts Centre soon.
