Friday 28th November The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We were joined in Powerscourt House by Mick Kelly, Wicklownews.net and Graham O’Neill, Wicklow Voice for a review of the papers and we were also joined by Sean Olohan and his son Ciaran for a live performance of Blue Christmas and he launched his Christmas Album in aid of St Vincent DePaul. We were also joined by Eric Dempsey, Birds Ireland and Michael Byrne, Powerscourt Head Gardener who talked about the birds and gardens at Powerscourt and we were joined by Affiniti who performed a fantastic rendition of O Holy Night and talked about their upcoming gig in the Mansion House on December 16th with Howard Crosby, the nephew of the late great Bing. 11am-midday •We were joined by Journalist and Broadcaster Barbara Scully and Local Businessman and Former Councillor Mick Glynn who talked about the toy show and black Friday and Rosin McGettigan dropped in with her long deserved bronze medal. We were also joined in studio by Denis Byrne, Cheers in Delgany who tasted some wines and told us about tonights wine tasting in Greystones Tennis Club in aid of Wicklow RNLI and Kim Hayden joined us to perform live. Santa also dropped in and we spoke to Sarah Slazenger of Powerscourt house.

Thursday 27th November The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard tribute to Author, Director and Producer Anita Notaro after she passed away yesterday following a long illness from Close Friend Author/Actress Claudia Carroll and we were joined in studio by Hugh Brennan, o Cualannn CO Housing Alliance who gave his views on yesterday allocation of €2.2 billion housing funding and was joined by Sinn Fein Councillor John Snell who also gave his views. We were also joined in studio by Tom Curran who gave his reaction to the latest on medical cards in relation to the terminally ill and Science Journalist Sean Duke dropped in to tell us how to tell what your dog is thinking and what bubbles do to your beer. 11am-midday •We were joined in studio by Wicklow Chef Siobhan Donnelly who talked about Thanksgiving Dinner and forward planning your Christmas Cooking and Singer John Sadlier joined us to perform his Charity single in aid of Age Action Ireland. We also spoke to Simon Brooks, Head of Policy, Chluid about the Housing funding.

Wednesday 26th November The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to Dr Ciara Kelly about the latest on discretionary medical cards and we spoke to Former GRA Rep and local Garda Declan Lynch about how his thoughts on Noreen O’Sullivan being named the new (or remaining as) Garda Commissioner. We were also joined in studio by Laura Haugh, Mummy pages.ie and Siobhan Berry from MummyCooks.ie who talked about healthy school lunches and we heard about a meeting about regional aid for businesses in Arklow in the Arklow Bay Hotel on Thursday 27th November at 7.30pm from Ind Deputy Billy Timmins. 11am-midday We were joined in studio by Luan Parle who performed live and chatted about her new single Mercy Cry to raise funds for Gaza with Amnesty International, she will officially launch the single tonight in the River Bank Cafe & Bistro, tickets can be bought for €20 in McMullens Boutique or Halpins Bridge Cafe. We were also joined by Vet Pete Wedderburn who answered our listeners pet care questions and we spoke to Tom O’Malley, Commissioner with the Law Reform Commission about their issues paper on succession law and sousal homicides. We were also joined in studio by local artist Tom Byrne who chatted about opening his own gallery in Greystones.

Tuesday 25th November The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Councillor John Brady about plans for Katie Taylors homecoming and discussed the outcomes of yesterdays budget meeting and we spoke to one of our listeners who worked with Dublin Local Authorities for 26 years (now retired) and had direct involvement with water and sewerage issues for 20 of those years about Irish water and their plans. We also spoke to Listener Miles Smith from Avoca about his broadband and Seamus Boland, CEO, Irish Rural Link told us why they believe the availability of Rural Broadband to be even worse than expected. 11am-midday •We spoke to Michael Foley about his new book ‘ The Bloodied Sunday’ and we heard more on yesterdays Wicklow County Council Budget meeting from Councillor Pat Casey. We were also joined in studio by Money Watchdog John Diskin who talked about the importance of plugging the pension gap and Singer/Songwriter Johnny Brady popped in to perform live. Monday 24th November The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Carol Tallen, Buyers Broker Ltd about how in three days, she and others will turn a rusty 40ft shipping container into a small, bespoke house and on day 4, (Sunday 30th) that house will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul to house a family in time for Christmas and we spoke to SF Councillor John Snell about the housing situation in Wicklow Town and FF Councillor Pat Fitzgerald and FG Counicllor Sylvestour Bourke about the housing situation in Arklow. We also spoke to Annette Plunkett, WH Five Loaves about the number of homeless people in Wicklow tonight. 11am-midday •We were joined in studio by Comedian Colm O’Regan who talked about his Christmas Book of Irish Mammies and we were also joined in studio by Dee Laffin, Editor of Easy Food who talked about smart and forward planning for Christmas. We were also joined by Dermot Williams, Threatscape who talked about Regan and we spoke to Niall O’Connor Political Correspondent with Independent Newspapers about Fine Gael possibly preparing for an election.
