Friday 31st October The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We were joined in studio by Mary Fogarty, Bray People and Mick Kelly, Wicklow news.net for a review of the papers and we spoke to Steve Wynne Jones, Editor of Checkout Magazine about top Halloween treats and Supermarket wars. We were also joined in studio by Stephen Griffiths who talked about his book straight talking self help book ‘Open Doors’ and we also heard about potential Halloween horrors with fireworks and bonfires from Fireman John Kidd. 11- 12pm •We were joined in studio by Arklow based footballer and personal trainer William Tyrell who talked about his recent upgrade in football and starting a new business in Bray and we heard tales of banshees and ghosts from Wicklow man Stan who has been collecting stories for 28 years. We were also joined in studio by Singer/Songwrter Luan Parle who performed live and chatted about her new single and local Garda Declan Lynch dropped in to give warnings and advice on a safe Halloween.

Tuesday 28th October The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We returned to the ongoing issue of water in Arklow with Local Counsellor and spokesperson for the group Mary McDonald and we spoke to Adrian Wreckler, technology Correspondent with the Irish Independent about the Irish based owner of the iWatch name. We also spoke to a local commuter about the expected impact of the public transport fare hikes and Science Jounalist Sean Duke joined us in studio to talk about Halloween being the real holiday of love, how 3 glasses of milk daily can possibly lead to an early death and if people can actually be born evil. 11- 12pm •We were joined in studio by Phil Coulter who talked about his upcoming tour and Chef Siobhan Donnelly joined us to give recipe tips. We were also joined in studio by Vet Pete Wedderburn who talked about pet superstitions and we heard about the Blessington Water tax protests from Sinn Fein Councillor Gery O’ Neill.

Wednesday 29th October The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We heard about the value and details of the paintings stolen from a house in Donard last week from James O’Halloran, MD Adams Auctioneers and we spoke to Maureen Griffen, another Wicklow water campaigner ahead of this Saturdays national protest, this starting at County Buildings on Station Road at 12.30pm. We also spoke to Gerry Murphy, CEO National Transport Authority and Mark Gleeson, Rail Users Group about the price hikes in public transport fares and we spoke to Maureen Mulvhill, Head of Health Promotion at Irish Heart Foundation about the FAST campaign and World Stroke Day. 11- 12pm We spoke to Garda Declan Lynch about the art robbery in Donard and we were joined in studio by Greystones Man Joe Clifford who talked about running the marathon on Monday with his unique ‘running ‘ mate his brother Ciaran who has intellectual disabilities and he was joined by one of the people who helped make that possible Johnny Hayden. We were also joined in studio by Laura Haugh, Mum in residence at Mummy pages.net who gave us ideas and suggestions to keep the kids occupied during rainy day mid term break.

Tuesday 28th October The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard about the crazy crime rampage over the weekend which left one man dead, a homeless man seriously injured and a taxi driver terrorised from Cathal Mc Mahon, Crime Reporter with the Irish Daily Mirror and we spoke to Arklow woman Mary Hickey Nolan who has taken part in every Dublin City Marathon to date. We also spoke to Conor Faughan, AA roadwatch about the worrying increase in traffic and pressure on the roads and we heard tribute to Bassist Jack Bruce from Music Journalist Jackie Hayden. Wicklow water campaigners Shane Rowen and Violet Wilkins dropped in to talk about this Saturdays National protest. 11- 12pm •We spoke to Tom Shortt, Wicklow president of the IFA about the meat protests and we were joined in studio by John Diskin, Money watchdog who talked about the budget and pensions. We were also joined in studio by Colin Murphy and Brendan O’Reilly who talked about their book who’s feckin who in Irish History.
