Friday 3rd October The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We were joined in studio by Graham O’ Neill, Wicklow Voice and Mary Fogarty, Bray People for a review of the papers and Science Journalist Sean Duke dropped in to talk about the heart benefits of olive oil, how former lovers may impact future childrens looks. We were also joined by Horticulturist, Pariaic Horken who talked about what to do in your garden in October and Joanna O’Donnell, Met Eireann gave us out weather warning. 11- 12pm We spoke to Wicklow Independent Deputy Billy Timmons about the ongoing John McNulty saga and we were joined in studio by Actor Don Wycherley and Writer/ Actor Peter Sheridan who doubled up as Friday guests and talked about their respective projects, Don’s new play that he is performing in After Sarah Miles and Peter’s new play 44 playing at the Viking Theatre in Clontarf, his part in a new crime fiction novel Sister Caravaggio that he co-wrote with 7 other authors and his involvement in the Dalkey Creates, writing workshops.

Thursday 2nd October The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to Niall O’Connor from Europe about Phil Hogans ‘interview’ and fallout with Ming and we heard about intimidating dolphins from John Byrne, Galway RNLI. We also spoke to Kathleen O’ Meara, Head of Advocacy Irish Cancer Society about extending breast check and their paint it pink campaign tomorrow to mark the beginning of breast cancer awareness month and we heard details of last night’s Parlimentary meeting 11- Midday We were joined in studio by Leading Mental Health Practioners Enda Murphy and Dr Harry Barry who talked about their latest book ‘ Flagging the Screenager’ which tackles the challenges facing parents of teens in a media saturated world and we heard advice on long term pet care from Vet Pete Wedderburn. We were also joined in studio by Canadian singer/songwriter Royal Wood for a chat and performance ahead of his gigs in Slane and Whelans next weekend.

Wednesday 1st October The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to FG Deputy Andrew Doyle about the Toaiseachs latest apology and we heard advice from Michael Culloty, Money Advice and Budgeting Service on managing with the water charges and we caught up with Sinn Fein Councillor Mary McDonald following their public meeting on same last night. We were also joined in studio by Richard Magee, who talked about living with his mental illness ahead of World Mental Day on October 10th. 11- midday We were joined in studio by Laura Haugh, Mum in residence, Mummypages.ie who talked about childcare costs and the budget and discussed the optimum age gap between siblings and we spoke to Myles Nolan, Arachnologist about the poisonous spider attack in South Dublin and dangerous spiders in Ireland. We also heard about the Hospice Golf Classic from event organiser Rita O’Brien and Evanne Cahill, Wicklow Hospice Foundation and we were joined by Grammy award winner Susan McKeown who performed live ahead of her gig at a poetry reading in the Mermaid Arts Centre.

Tuesday 30th September The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to John Lowe, Money Doctor about the latest on Water charges and caught up with SF Cllr John Brady ahead of his next protest against the water charges. We were also joined in studio by Johnny Hayden, who told us about his success at the swim for his charity this weekend and Authors Eilís Ní Dhuibhne (novelist & short story writer) and Cormac Millar (crime writer)dropped in to talk about their collaborative crime fiction novel ‘Sister Caravaggio’ written with five other Irish authors. 11- midday We were joined by Ashford based Psychotherapist and Counsellor Richard Bury who talked about the positives and living a good life and we spoke to Comedian Andrew Maxwell ahead of his Bray gig. We also returned to the Irish water conversation with Independent Stephen Donnelly

Monday 29th September The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to Karl Holmes, Greystones Golf Club Pro about the Ryder Cup and we spoke to Gerry Byrne, Aviation Journalist and Author about mobile phone use on planes. We also caught up with Technological Consultant Damien Mulley about the ‘bendy’ problem with the new iphone and apple being in hot water and Susan Walsh popped in from Dubray books with some book recommendations. 11- midday We spoke to Niall O’Connor, Political Correspondent Irish Independent about the Taoiseachs latest comments on that controversial appointment and we were joined in studio by Author Emma Hannigan who talked about an event she will MC in Powerscourt Garden Pavillion on Wednesday morning in aid of Bray Cancer Support Centre. We were also joined by Conor McKeon who chatted and performed ahead of his gig in the National Concert Hall on October 8th which will be hosted by Mario Rosenstock and Conor will be joined by performers Brian Kennedy, Eleanor McEvoy and Frances Black and is in aid of suicide charity the 3T’s.
