Friday 12th September The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We were joined in studio by Mick Kelly, Wicklownews.net for a review of the papers and we heard about Bray Emmets Kick Fada taking place on Saturday. We were also joined in studio by Resident Guidance Counsellor Patricia Wroe who spoke about the importance of positive speaking to your young people about homework, study and school and the innovations of third level education and we were also joined by Harry Williams, Chairman of Powerscourt Ploughing Society who talked about the ploughing match and vintage display on tomorrow. 11- Midday We were joined in studio by Donal Kierna, Addiction Counsellor with the All-trust Cetnre in Bray and a recovering gambling addict who talked about the rise and treatment of gambling addiction and we were joined in studio by The Young Folk who performed live ahead of their Harbour bar gig on Sunday. We were also joined in studio by Eric Dempsey, Birds Ireland to talk about birdlife and we heard about the deal of the week in an Irish Hotel from Holiday Doctor Joe Supple.

Thursday 11th September The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to Deirdre Lowe, Met Eireann about the Indian summer we are getting and we spoke to Dr Eileen O’Sullivan, President of College of Anesthetists of Ireland about instances of people waking during surgery. We were joined in studio by Science Journalist and Broadcaster Sean Duke who talked about Jaack the Rippers identity, if telepathy exists and the point of carbon and we were joined in studio by Local Garda Declan Lynch about a spate of recent break-ins. 11- midday We spoke to Michael Kelly, Founder of Grow it Yourself movement and how it is doing in Wicklow and we were joined in studio by Vet Pete Wedderburn who talked about those killer spiders. We were also joined in studio by The Drifters for a chat and live performance ahead of their optimum tour which will see them visit the Olympia Theatre on October 25th.

Wednesday 10th September The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to John Kennedy, Editor of Silicon Republic about new iphone and Apple watch and we were joined in studio by Independent Councillor Tom Fortune about his resignation as Chairman of Wicklow County Tourism. We also spoke to Dermot Goode, www.totalhealthcover.ie about possible changes to health levy and we heard how grief can actually damage the immune system in older people, sometime fatally from Dr Anna Philips, Study leader and reader of Behavioural Science at University of Birmingham. We discussed if bed wetting can affect a child’s performance at school with Laura Haugh, Mum in Residence, Mummypages.ie 11-midday We were joined in studio by Conro Saunders, Nutritional Therapist from Greystones to talk about handling fussy eating kids, convincing them to eat veg and advice on good foods for improving focus and concentration and we spoke to Noel Whelan about Kennedy Summer School launching tomorrow. We also hear about the Enniskerry Field Event taking place this Sunday and we were joined by Best selling Author Sarah Webb who talked about Mountains to Sea Book Festival, also taking place this weekend in Dalkey. We heard about National Suicide Prevention Day and the warning signs to watch out for with someone of concern from Founder and CEO Pieta House Joan Friedman.

Tuesday 9th September The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to Dermott Jewell, National Consumer Association of Ireland about the ridiculously high cost of directory inquiries and we spoke to Gerry Byrne, Aviation Journalist and Broadcaster about Ryanair ordering €17 billion worth of jets and what that means for air fare. We also spoke to Dr Lisa o’ Connor, Food Safety Authority about the risks associated with some frozen berries, we spoke to John Kennedy, Editor Silicon Republic about the new Iphone and we caught up with members of Aughrim and Wicklow town tidy towns committees to chat about recent success. 11- midday We were joined in studio by Owen Fitzpatrick, Psychotherapist who talked about mindfulness and we Money Watchdog John Diskin popped in to talk about mortgages. We were also joined in studio by Karl Power, Glenart Events who talked about his haunted house and ghost train event in October and we spoke to a recovering gambling addict about gambling anonymous awareness week.

Monday 8th September The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to Dr Edel Walsh, Economist, UCC about what leads to happiness and satisfaction amongst Irish people and we were joined in studio by Deputy Anne Ferris who talked about launching the Adoption conference in Cork last week. We were also joined in studio by Health and fitness consultant Helen Walsh who talked about benefits of good eating and exercise in the fight against ageing and how our waistlines should be approximately half of our height and John Usher, President Taxi Federation of Ireland gave us his reaction to the doubling of complaints about taxi drivers in the last year. 11- 12pm We were joined in studio by Dog Whisperer Alex Petrilli and his dog Zara to talk a out the DSPCA Great Irish dog walk on 27th September and we spoke to Victor Edmonds about the Joe Loughmann Cycle taking place this Sunday 14th September in aid of Bray Cancer Support Centre. We were also joined in studio by Deanna O’ Connor, Editor Xpose Magazine who talked about looking in control without feeling it, the importance of downtime and NYC Fashion week.
