Friday 5th September The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We were joined in studio by Mick Kelly, Wicklownews.net and Mary Fogarty, Bray People for a review of the papers and East Coast News Editor and long time fan Gareth Farrell paid tribute to the late Joan Rivers. We were also joined in studio by Gardener Paraic Horken who gave advice on getting your garden ready for Autumn. 11- Midday We heard why there will be a reduction in property tax for 6 out of 10 homeowners from Niall O’Connor, Political Correspondent Irish Independent and we spoke to David O’Sullivan, Cork 96fm reporter on the scene of the Charleville tragedy. We were joined in studio by John Mullen, Secretary of the Tinnaheely Community Projects about the Tinnaheely Challenge in aid of Pieta House and Carol Tallen, Buyer Brokers ltd gave her reaction to first time buyers queuing for 5 days to buy a house this week. We were also joined in studio by Singer Songwriter Eoin Glacken who peformed live ahead of the release of his latest single and Mary Phelan, Irish Country Living told us why butter may not be so bad for us after all.

Thursday 4th September The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to Cllrs Irene Winters and Tom Fortune about the next stage of the property tax and how local authorities will handle it and we spoke to Ciaran Doyle ahead of the old Wicklow Lifeboat arriving back at Wicklow town. We were also joined by Sean Duke who talked about if leaders have different brains, friends have closer DNA then strangers and if a google app can read your emotions. 11- midday We were joined in studio by Donnellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly who gave handy advice for back to school meals and student cooking and Holiday Doctor Joe Supple popped in to discuss city breaks. We also talked about microchipping and a recent dog attack with Vet Pete Wedderburn.

Dee Laffin, Editor Easy Food talked to us about brain food for the kids and foods that improve focus and concentration and Garda Declan Lynch dropped in to talk about recent local incidents. 11- midday We were joined in studio by Ann Harding and Shirley McClure from Little Bray Family Resource Centre Writers Group who talked about their exhibition of work about Bray currently showing at the Signal Arts Centre and after that Bray Library and we were joined in studio by Michael Byrne, Head Gardener Powerscourt Gardens who talked about being ranked third garden in the world by National Geographic. We were also joined in studio by Mark Felton, Felton Mc Knight Solicitors and Anne Dempsey, Senior Helpline to talk about elder abuse and Steve Wynne Jones, Editor Checkout Magazine talked to us about the top 100 brands bought by Irish consumers.

We were also joined in studio by Holdiay Doctor Joe Supple who talked about Irish hotel breaks costing 10% more according to a recent study by www.hotels.com 11- midday We heard about blue eyes being the most common eye colour in Ireland, what that means and more on the blue eye project from Katie Barnes, ScotlandsDna and we were joined in studio by Eileen Earls, Wickkow Cancer Support who talked about their new premises and opening hours. We also spoke to Niamh Horan, Sunday Independent about her 34 hour shift in A&E and were joined in studio by Sheila Keegan-Groome who talked about Autumn.

We were also joined in studio by Independent Deputy Billy Timmons who talked about the Irish Troops and continuing issues in the Middle East and we spoke to Lauren Keogh, Wicklow Mum who has set up Wicklow Healthy Kids facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/695047170569647/ 11- midday We were joined in studio by Parenting Coach Marian Bynre who told us what snowplough parents are and gave handy tips to parents for the first full week back to school and Obesity Expert Dr Donal O’ Shea talked about his report with the Royal College of Physicians ‘The race we don’t want to win’. We also heard why September is the most relaxing month of the year from Journalist and Broadcaster Barbara Sully.
