Friday 8th August The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We were joined in studio by Mick Kelly, Wicklownews.net and Mary Fogarty, Bray People who reviewed the newspapers and boyband Taken dropped in to perform live ahead of their gig supporting Union J. We were also joined in studio by Horticulturist Paraic Horken who gave gardening advice. 11- midday We were joined in studio by Author Ciara Geraghty who talked about her book ‘Now That I’ve Found You’ and we were joined in studio by Arklow Pride Organiser Dave Thomas and Privado who performed live ahead of their gig at the festival. We were also joined in studio by Deanna O’Connor, Editor Xpose Magazine who gave advice on power dressing and dressing for the job you want, not the one you have.

Thursday 7th August The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We spoke to FG Deputy Andrew Doyle and IFA County Chairman Tom Shortt about pending sanctions on food from Ireland by Russia and we spoke to Local Author and horse enthusiast Emily Gilmoor Murphy ahead of Ladies Day at the Dublin Horse Show. We also spoke to John Leech, Irish Water Safety following a jellyfish warning and Science Journalist Sean Duke talked about the ebola virus and the possible development of a cure. 11- midday We discussed big Supermarket price wars with Stephen Wynne-Jones, Editor Checkout Magazine and we were joined by Holiday Doc Joe Supple and Pat Jacobs, www.friendshiptravel.com to talk about solo holidays and travelling alone. We were also joined in studio by Kilcoole Animal Hospital Behaviour Specialist Shane McDermott who talked about picking and training a new puppy.

The Morning Show with Declan Meehan Wednesday 6th August 10- 11am We spoke to Kevin Humphries, Minister for Job Activation from Arklow about his visit of the County today and we spoke to Tommy Hanratty, Everest Cycles about restarting business in Lidl, Bray following a recent fire that devastated his premises. We also spoke to Former Rugby International Shane Byrne and Arklow Ladies Rugby player Diane Hunt about yesterday’s fantastic win for the Womens team and Charlie Weston, Irish Independent Personal Finance Editor talked about the housing shortage in Dublin. 11- midday We heard reaction to a report from Oxford University that claims video games can make your children happier and more sociable, from Laura Haugh, Mum-in-residence, Mummypages.net and we were joined in studio by Journalist and Broadcaster Barbara Scully who talked about motorway travelling making us miss out on the sights across the Country. We were also joined in studio by local singer/songwriter Mark Ryan who peformed live.

Tuesday 5th August The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We heard about the weather for the coming days from Siobhah Ryan, Met Eireann and Alice O’ Donnell, Chairperson of Triple A Alliance Wicklow joined in studio to give advice on how to survive the summer with a child who has autism. We also discussed the progress of the completion of the N11 with Andrew Doyle and how we heard reaction to how Wicklow fared in Failte Ireland Holidaymakers 2013 survey from County Tourism Board Members Pat Casey and Irene Winters. 11- midday We were joined in studio by Eric Dempsey, Birds Ireland who talked about his latest book on Birds and we heard how 1 in 10 motorists are still using their mobile phone while driving from Conor Faughnan, AA. We were also joined in studio by Heathers ahead of their gig in Mermaid Arts Centre this Saturday.
