Friday 1st August The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We were joined at Arklow RNLI to celebrate the Maritime Festival for a review of the papers by Wicklow News.net Mick Kelly and Deborah Coleman, Wicklow People. We also spoke to Mark Corcoran about the Festival and Ian Davis, Pure Project joined us to advise against illegal dumping in the County and on the beaches, we were joined by former Ruby International Shane Byrne and Local family Law Solicitor Deirdre Burke who chatted about water charges and the local area and talented 14-year old Arklow based Singer/Songwriter Sean Fox came along to perform a song he wrote himself. 11- Midday We were joined in Arklow by Donnellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly and local FF Councillor Pat Fitzgerald popped down to talk about housing and water problems in the town. Wexford singer Johnny Stewart and Stephen McCabe of McCabes Hand Roasted Coffee also joined us for a live performance from Johnny and tasting from Stephen. Thursday 31st July The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We discussed illegal dumping in Arklow with Nevan Reilly, Wicklownews.net and we discussed Gaza with Billy Timmons. We also heard tips on finding student accommodation from USI President Laura Harmon, Science Journalist Sean Duke joined us in studio to talk about how a blood test may now help detect a suicide risk and why we make snap judgments based on looks and John Glynn chatted to us from Houston, Texas about how Super-Gav was doing. 11- midday We spoke to Celebrity Chef Derry Clarke ahead of his appearance at the Bray Summerfest Food Festival and we heard about tip travel tips that will ‘change your life’ from Holiday Doc Joe Supple. We also heard from Irish Daily Mirror Crime Correspondent Cathal Mc Mahon and Kilcoole Animal Hopstial Vetinary Nurse and Animal Behaviourist Shane McDermott dropped in to give advice on choosing a pet.

Wednesday 30th July The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We discussed the impact the filming of the new Star Wars movie is having on the bird life in Skellig with Dr Stephen Newtown, Sealife conservation expert, Birdwatch Ireland and we were joined in studio by Simon Moynihan, Bonkers.ie who talked about the rise in electricity bills and how to get the best value for your energy bills. We were also joined in studio by Conor Saunders, Smart eaters to chat about his new ice-cream that is good for your gut and to discuss you five-a-day. 11- midday We were joined in studio by Laura Haugh, Mum-in-residencem Mummypages.ie who talked about all the aspects of starting and returning to school and we also heard about popular consumer complaints and companies that there were a lot of complaints against from Karen O’Leary, CEO NCA. We were also joined in studio by Hot Sprockets and Festival Organisers Karl Jacob and John Murphy who chatted ahead of the Secret Garden Music Festival in Wicklow this weekend.

We also heard about what to expect at this years’ Galway Races from Galway Journalist Stella Meehan 11- midday We spoke to Irish Examiner Political Correspondent Mick Clifford about Brian Purcell and we heard advice on staying safe and well on holidays from Dr Graham Fry, Founder of Tropical Medical Bureau. We were joined in studio by Karen Moloney who talked about her book ‘The Gardens that Mended a Marriage’ and we heard about back to school cost worries from Barnardos CEO Fergus Finlay.
