Friday 16th May The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard a review of the papers from Mick Kelly Wicklownews.net and Mary Fogarty, Bray People and we heard about this weekend good weather from Pat Clarke of Met Eireann. We also heard about herb planting in Mid May from Horticulturist Padraig Horken and we discussed the importance of this weekends match with Wicklow Manager Harry Murphy. 11am -midday •We also met another two candidates from Wicklow town and we spoke to GAA Manager Gail Dunne and Wicklow Allstar Kevin O’Brien about the original about the original battle of Aughrim. We also handed over our €50,384.25 coffee morning cheque to the reps of the 5 Cancer Support Centre and Wicklow Hospice Foundation.

We also discussed how much these elections actually mean to people with Examiner Journalist Gerard Howlin.

We were also joined in studio by Ger Gallgher who talked about her play ‘Weighing In’ and we heard why frugal women are more likely to be interested in penny pinching men from Irish Independent Personal Finance Editor Charlie Weston. 11am -midday •We were joined EU Candidates Richard Harris and Diarmuid O’Flynn and more local candidates from Greystones. We also discussed how Ireland will have Europes fattest familes by 2030 and the need for more focused PE in schools with Obesity Expert Prof Donal O’Shea and we were joined in studio by Singer/Songwriter Miles Graham who performed live ahead of his Sugar Club gig on May 24th
