Friday 18th April The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard details on the end of Setanta insurance and found out what affected drivers should do from Money Doctor John Lowe and we caught up with International Best-selling Author Cathy Kelly ahead of her singing debut on tonights’ Late Late Show to raise money for UNICEF. We also heard why you shouldn’t give your dogs chocolate this Easter or ever from Vet Pete Wedderburn and we spoke to Peter O’Brien, Director of Happenings about the launch of their open-air cinema in Dublin tonight where they will be showing ‘The Life of Brian’ for more details see www.happenings.ie 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Comedian Neil Delamere ahead of his gig in Pavillion Theatre on Saturday 19th April and we heard about the real cost of Easter Eggs and which were the best from Ciara O’Kelly, Consumer Expert, Country Life. We were also joined in studio by Musician Eviston who chatted about upcoming gigs.

Thursday 17th April The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We heard reaction to the latest Credit Union spending survey from Money Doctor John Lowe and we also heard the latest on pylon debate from local campaigner Clifford Dagge . We were joined in studio by Science Journalist Sean Duke who told us why after the age 24 you can be considered as over the hill and we discussed the pros and cons of the beard. 11am -midday •We spoke to dietician and nutritionist Sarah Keogh about how much sugar can be in your ‘healthy’ cereal bar and how being hungry and angry at the same time can actually damage your relationship. We also heard Easter cooking ideas from Donnellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly and got wine ideas for the weekend from Brendan McGuiness from Next Door in Arklow.

Tuesday April 15th The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11aM •We heard from Adrian Cummins, CEO Restaurant Association of Ireland who told us his views on the Good Friday alcohol ban and how it is impacting the service and tourism industry and we also spoke to Niall Hatch, Birdwatch Ireland about a summer long job on an Island off Ireland. We also discussed the latest climate change report with listener Eoin McMahon and Tony Lowes, Friends of the Irish Environment 11am -midday •We discussed homeless problem in Wicklow with Cllr Jimmy O’Shaughnessy and Annette Kennedy, Chair of Wicklow Homeless Forum and we also talked about the new potential homeless with Carol Tallon of Buyers Broker Ltd and Wicklow TD’s Stephen Donnelly and Andrew Doyle. We were also joined in studio by Swing Cats who performed live ahead of their Easter Sunday gig in the Button Factory.

Monday April 14th The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard what its’ like to be a Liverpool supporter today and also remembered the Hillsborough Disaster with Freshly Squeezed DJ Rob G and Arklow listener Paul and we were also joined in studio by Betty Purcell who talked about her book; Inside RTE. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Eric Dempsey, Birds Ireland who talked about springtime birds and we spoke to Joan Freeman, CEO and Founder of Pieta House about the launch of their 6th annual darkness into light walk in Bray and Arklow tonight. We also spoke to Pierce O’Reilly, CEO Irish TV about their new venture and job creation and we were joined in studio by Big September who performed live ahead of their gig at Barndance festival in Bray this Good Friday and their new single release on April 25th.
