Friday 14th March The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We discussed the week in Wicklow stories and heard a review of todayts Papers from Graham O’ Neill, Wicklow Voice and Mary Fogarty, Bray People and we heard a review of Brian O’ Driscolls last match from former rugby International Shane Byrne. We also heard a round up of St Patricks Day events around the County including Wicklow, Arklow and Baltinglass. 11am-midday •We spoke Courtney and Louise from Wicklow Band Perfect Friction and played their latest single Irish Love and we heard more an Wicklow Patricks Day celebrations from Newtown, Rathdrum, Greystones, Bray, Carnew and Aughrim, for more details see www.eastcoast.fm. We also heard some tips for weekend wines from Brendan McGuiness, Next Door wine in Arklow.

Thursday 13th March The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We discussed water in Arklow with Cllr Donal O’ Sullivan and David Shannon, Scientific Officer, Office of Environmental Enforcement with the EPA following their report which raised concerns over raw sewage in water in urban areas and we discussed a recent call by some TD’s to follow in Britains footsteps and introduce a domestic violence register and a local domestic violence clinic with Greystones Fasmiy Resource Centre Project Manager Caoimhe Kerins. We also heard how you can now find out how long you will live with a simple test, while a new pill cam apparently help you live longer from Science Journalist Sean Duke. 11am-midday •We spoke to Garda Whistleblower John Wilson about yesterdays report on the penalty point system and we heard tips on Paddys day food from Wicklow Chef, Siobhan Donnelly. We also discussed the fluoride debate with Dr Philip Michael, Scientific Officer, Office of Environmental Enforcement with the EPA and Journalist Gerry Byrne. We were also joined in studio best selling Author Colette Caddle who chatted about her latest book.

Wednesday 12th March The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Aviation journalist and Author Gerry Byrne about latest on the missing Malaysian flight and we spoke to Nigel Owens following a big weekend in Ireland when he refereed in the Aviva for Brian O’ Driscolls last match at home, his own 50th International and also found time to ref an under 12’s Wicklow match in Barnhall. We also discussed the Fair City rape storyline and the shocking true fact that the accused can access counselling notes from the victim with Rape Crisis Network CEO, Ellen O’Malley Dunlop and soap reviewer Anne Kennedy. 11am-midday •We discussed 25 years of the internet with Technological Consultant Damien Mulley and we also heard advice on transitional fashion taking people, from winter woollies to maxi dresses from Sorcha Murphy of Escape Boutique. We also heard the latest on the penalty points report from Mick Clifford, Irish Examiner.

Tuesday 11th March The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard the latest on Frank Flannery from Philip Ryan, Jourlaist with the Irish Independent and we spoke to Wicklow based teacher and ASTI Hon Treasurer Ray St John ahead of todays planned lunchtime strike. We also discussed the birds of Springtime with Wicklow based, Birds Ireland spokesperson, Eric Dempsey and we heard how Nigel Owens had refereed a match with Wicklow U12 team over the weekend from Director of Rugby at Wicklow RFC Jason Watson. 11am-midday •We heard about Roman times and his latest book from Sunday Times bestselling Author and Roman Aficionado Ben Kane and we also heard about how warhorse theatre show coming to Dublin has increased awareness of horse welfare, which is a major problem in the County from Wicklow based Food and farm Journalist Suzanne Campbell. We also heard how day 1 was going at Cheltenham from Bet Fairs’ Barry Orr.

Monday 10th March The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We talked to Shane Byrne following the weekends rugby win and Brian O’ Driscoll being named man of the match and we heard reaction to Morgan Kelly’s thoughts on the next big economic worry from ISME’s Mark Fielding. We also heard practical tips for saving money when buying a car from James O’ Donovan, Autor of e-book, Drive a Hard Bargain. 11am-midday •We were joined in studio Boyband Taken who performed live and we also heard from students from Avondale Community College and Colaiste Bride ahead of them attending a young social innovators event in Kilkenny tomorrow where they will speak out on social issues effecting them. We were also joined in studio by Parenting Coach Marian Byrne who gave helpful tips on developing your childs’ creativity.
