Friday 28th February The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Mick Kelly, Wicklow News.net and Mary Fogarty, Bray People about the big stories of the week and day and we were joined by Science Journalist Sean Duke who discussed if chivalry Is actually insulting to women and the new discovery of new planets. We also heard about Oesophagial Cancer Awareness weekend from a Wicklow woman who lost her sister to the disease and we discussed the 6th Annual East Coast FM Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning events taking place across the weekend of 4th, 5th & 6th April, see www.eastcoast.fm/coffee for more details. 11am-midday •We were joined in studio by Tom Curran and Marie’s daughter Corinna who talked about Marie’s Memoir ‘An Act of Love’ and we were also joined in studio by White Chalk who performed live.

We also heard warnings following a spike in card skimming incidents in the Carlow area from IPSO Card Services Manager, Una Dillon and we discussed IRBC loans with Deputy Andrew Doyle and David Hall, Director Irish Mortgage Brokers Association. 11am-midday •We spoke to Money Doctor John Lowe about the end of laser cards and the value of rock and roll memorabilia and we were joined in studio by Vet Pete Wedderburn who answered listener question. We were also joined by singer/songwrtier Fiach Moriarty who performed live ahead of his gig in Glendalough Green tomorrow night.

We also heard reaction to last nights BBC Spotlight programme from former Priory Hall resident Ursula O’Brien. 11am-midday •We spoke to Children’s Rights Alliance CEO Tanya Ward about the report card which took a look at children from the perspective of poverty, education and mental health and we were joined in studio by Aslan’s Billy McGuinness and Singer Laura O’ Neill ahead of their Eurosong hopes on this Friday nights Late Late Show. Irish Examiner Journalist Mick Clifford gave us an update on the whistle blowing controversy following Alan Shatter speaking in the Dail.
