Friday 7th February The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard a preview of the papers and big Wicklow stories of the week from Mick Kelly, Wicklownews.net and Graham O’ Neill, Wicklow Voice. We also heard about 8 of the top fitness apps from Silicon Republic John Kennedy and we discussed the six nations and Arklow being Ireland’s most Romantic town with Former Rugby International and Arklow native Shane Byrne. Shane is filling in for Declan on Monday 10th & Tuesday 11th February. 11am-midday •We were joined in studio by former Bray Resident and Creator of Bosco, Wanderly Wagon and Fortycoats Joe O’ Donnell as our Friday guest and we heard some tips on Valentines City breaks and overnight stays from Holdiay Doctor Joe Supple. We were also joined by Raglans for a performance and chat.

Thursday 6th February The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard the latest on the weather and when is next pressure point for already stressed areas and we also discussed the potential risks with certain contraceptive pill brands with local GP Dr Ciara Kelly. We also heard about a Danish guy with a bionic hand that is able to feel texture, shape and pressure like a normal hand from Science Journalist Sean Duke. 11am-midday •We were joined in studio to discuss listener questions by Vet Pete Wedderburn and we also heard advice on the difficult task of making a hospital complaint from Margaret Hawkins, Health Correspondent, Country Life Magazine.

Wednesday 9th February The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Irish Sun reporter, Ann Mooney from Cork about the flooding and also checked in around the County to see how Wicklow was faring in the bad weather. We also spoke to Shillelagh resident and anti-pylon campaigner Jimmy Schoeb about the EU report on pylons that showed no conclusive link to human health risks and Escape Boutique’s Sorcha Murphy gave advice on decluttering your wadrobe. 11am-midday •We were joined in studio by Irish Times Security Analyst Tom Clonan who talked about his latest book ‘Whistleblower, Soldier, Spy’ and we talked to Money Doctor John Lowe about AIB Split mortgages. We also caught up with Redcross Kites Operation Transformation team about their progress and being featured briefly in last nights programme and heard more about weather conditions around the County.

Tuesday 4th February The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We discussed Facebook being 10 years old today and their decision to not yet remove neck nominations videos wit Technology Consultant Damien Mulley and we talked about World Cancer Day, a WHO study which revealed alcohol, obesity and smoking are main factors for the global rise in disease and 24 years of Bray Cancer Support with CEO of the centre, Veronica O’Leary. We also heard about routes into CAO process for people with disability and financial issues and last minute change of mind from Wicklow based Guidance Counsellor, Patricia Wroe. 11am-midday •We talked to Jim Harding, Bully4u, James o’ Higgins Norman, anti-bullying centre, DCU and a local Mum whose daughter has suffered from cyber- bullying about the free cyber-bullying forum on in Wilton Hotel on Friday 7th February from 9am and Money Watchdog John Diskin dropped in to give advice on making your budget go further and give his reaction to BOI ATM-only cards no longer being accepted in AIB ATM’s. We also talked to John Devitt, CEO Transparency Ireland about European Commission report which states that 4 of 5 Irish people believe Ireland is corrupt.
