Friday 10th January The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard a review of the papers and the weeks loval news from Mick Kelly, Wicklownews.net and Graham O’Neill, Wicklow Voice and we discussed water rates with local Cllrs Pat Casey and Ronan McManus. We also got advice on where you start if you are thinking of taking up good deeds for the New Year from Leah Kinsella, Volunteering Wicklow and we caught up with our Science Journalist Sean Duke at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition who met with more Wicklow students. 11am-midday •We herd further reaction to the surprise cuts to grants for home renovation for the elderly and people with disability from non sighted local man Cearbhall O’ Meadhra and Band The Barley Mob joined us to perform live. We were also joined in studio by our Friday guest Greystones GP Dr Ciara Kelly who talked about her career, life, recent TV & Radio success and what its like to be the new expert on Operation Transformation.

Thursday 9th January The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard details on an unexpected cut to grants for home renovations for people with disability and the elderly from Independent Political Correspondent Niall O’ Connor and reaction from Arklow Cllr and wheelchair user Miriam Murphy. We also spoke to Rita Darcy, Secretary of Wicklow Dublin Mountain Rescue Team who told us about the last year and we heard plans from FG Deputy Andrew Doyle to secure grants for the organisation and Science Journalist Sean Duke talked to us live from BT Young Scientists Exhibition with some Wicklow participants. 11am-midday •We spoke to Ian Power, www.spunout.ie about employment figures and were joined in studio by Richard Bury , Ashford based Psychotherapist and Counsellor who explained how mindfulness and meditation work and also talked about his upcoming stress control course which starts on 21st January at 7.15pm in the Friar Suite, Grand Hotel and runs for 6 consecutive weeks. Pete the Vet answered listeners questions.

Wednesday 8th January The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard reaction to a survey carried out by the Irish Daily Mail that shows attacks on elderly people have risen considerably in the last 10 years from Seamus Boland, Irish Rural Link and Cllr Pat Doran. We also heard tips for tenants cleaming up flood damage from Threshold Chairperson Senator Aideen Hayden and we caught up with former Greystones resident Siobhan (Sweeney) Freegard about receiving an OBE for being one of the founders of www.netmums.co.uk 11am-midday •We spoke to Bray Councillors Tracey O’ Brien and John Brady about last nights Town Council budget and Carol Tallon, Buyers Broker ltd and Author of Irish Property Buyers Handbook dropped in to give her view on the property market in Wicklow. We also caught up with two students from Dominican College, Wicklow Town at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition and heard about more operation transformation Wicklow from Bill Porter who kicks off Rathdrum team tonight.

Tuesday 7th January The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard opposing views on pylons on the last day for submissions from Clifford Dagge, Wicklow Against Pylons and FG Deputy Andrew Doyle and we discussed Manchester United and its management with Daily Star Soccor Correspondent PaulLennon and Wicklow Man United Supporters club member Tony Dunne. We also heard accounts of how badly the weather yesterday effected homes and businesses around the County in Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow. 11am-midday •We spoke to Independent Deputy Billy Timmons about the upcoming reform alliance conference in the RDS and we were joined in studio by Greystones man Gerry Collins and his daughter who talked about being diagnosed with secondary, terminal lung cancer and his brave decision to take part in the HSE quit smoking campaign. We also caught up with two of the many Wicklow groups taking part in this years operation Transformation, Mel Raul from OT Redcross Kites and Mick Nolan from Wicklow Town OT team.

Monday 6th January The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard weather warning from Evelyn Cusack of Met Eireann and Dermott Jewell, Consumer Association of Ireland gave tips on getting rid of unwanted gifts, returns and refunds and clever consumer advice for the new year. We were also joined in studio by Jean Kelly, Last years slimmer of the year who gave motivational advice on kickstarting post Chrismtas weightloss 11am-midday •We were joined in studio by Parenting Coach Marian Byrne who gave advice on getting the kids back into a routine and Journalist Barbara Scully popped in to give her views on new years resolutions. We also heard the Wicklow results from the latest IBAL survey from Spokesperson Conor Horgan and Money Watchdog John Diskin gave his advice on good financial planning for 2014.
