Friday 20th December The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard a review of the papers from Bray People’s Mary Fogarty and Shay Fitzmaurice, Editor Wicklow Times and we also heard more books to buy as last minute gifts from Literary and publishing Consultant Peter O’Connell. 11-12 •We were joined in Bray Mayor Tracey O’ Brien and Bray Chamber of Commerce member Ian Donnelly who talked about the purchase of Florentine Centre and we tasted some Christmas wine with Brendan McGuiness, Next Door Arklow. We also had live Christmas music from The Ground will Shake and Emma Parkin, Easy Parenting and Dee Laffin, Easy Food gave advice on keeping over-stimulated kids calm and treating overindulgence over the Christmas period.

Thursday 19th December The Morning The Morning Show with Declan Meehan Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We returned to our discussion about horse welfare in Wicklow and the 63 horses that were put down last week with Independent Cllr Pat Kavanagh and we also caught up with award winning Christmas tree grower Christy Kavanagh about this years trade. We heard about the top techie gifts this Christmas from our Technological Consultant Damien Mulley and we got advice on buying Irish from Agri-Aware Chairperson Bernard Donohue. 11-12 •We were joined in studio by Irish Patients Association Chairperson Steve Mc Mahon who gave his reaction to the HSE report and one of our listeners filled us in on her recent experiences in A&E and we heard how to cook Christmas dinner like a pro from Donnellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly. We also heard the top toy sellers and toys that made a comeback this year from Hazel Hodgins of Hopkins Toymaster and we got tips and Vet Pete Wedderburn gave pet care advice.

Wednesday 19th December The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard reaction to the shockingly low prices of vegetable in major supermarkets from FG Deputy Andrew Doyle, IFA County Manager Tom Shortt and Dermott Jewell, Consumer Association of Ireland and we discussed a spike in calls to mental health organisation turn2me.ie this month with Founder of the organisation Oisin Scollard. We also returned to our discussion on horse welfare in Wicklow and heard details of the reward money for information on the brutal attack last week from Kellie Davies, spokesperson of VANAH (Voices for Horses) 11-12 •We were joined in studio by Music group Affiniti who recorded a special version of O Holy Night to raise money for SVP and we caught up with Mario Rosenstock ahead of his April tour. We also heard advice on this years’ top games, consoles and tablets from enthusiastic gamers and East Coast fm’s Seargent John Fitzpatrick and Drive-times’ Ryan O’ Neill.

Monday 16th December The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We took a look at how to reduce waste in the house and save ourselves a bomb as journalist Philip Boucher Hayes joined us in studio to tell us about his TV programme 'Waste Watchers'. Musician Mickey Harte also dropped in to have a chat and tell us about his latest venture on the music scene the Troubadour Club. 11-12 •Our Parenting Coach Marian Byrne gave us advice on how to deal with stressed kids at Christmas time and we also spoke to Sharon Newsome, co founder of the Irish Horse Welfare Trust, to give us an update on the foal that they have re homed following the brutal death of the foal's mother in the Ballyguile area of Wicklow Town last weekend.
