Friday 13th December The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We were joined in Hollands Bar in Bray by Mick Kelly, Wickownews.net and Mary Fogarty, Bray People for a review of the days papers and Local man Albert Kerr joined us to tell us about being named Charity Hero 2013 for his 46 years volunteer work in the area. We also heard Christmas present ideas of books from Susan Walsh of Dubray Books 11-12 •We were joined in Hollands Bray by Award winning Authour, Journalist and Playwright Paul Howard and Jazz and Blues singer Mary Coughlan who chatted about Christmas, whats in the news and their latest career news. We were also joined by Greystones singer/songwriter and former of the Voice of Ireland contestant Rory Quinn from the beginning of the show for live performances and Anne Marie Holland and Simon Boland from Hollands joined us with some wine and food tips.

Thursday 12th December The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard the latest on the CRC from FG Deputy Simon Harris and further reaction from Lorraine Dempsey, Chairperson Special Needs Parents Association and we returned to the issue of horse welfare and safety with FG Deputy Andrew Doyle and TJ Myron, animal welfare officer with WSPCA. We also discussed the science of Christmas with Science Journalist and Author Sean Duke. 11am-12pm •We were joined in studio by Paul Finnegan and Terry Sheridan from Barracuda in Bray ahead of tonights Taste of Bray festival at 8pm in the Town Hall (upstairs) and Vet Pete Wedderburn joined us to give advice on buying Christmas presents for pets.

The Morning Show With Declan Meehan Wednesday December 11th 2013

10am – 11am Sinn Fein Councillor John Brady and local business man Eugene Finnegan of Finnegan’s Bus hire dropped in to chat to Declan to about the proposals to privatise some of the bus routes in Wicklow and South Dublin. There was a very lively discussion about how best to serve the people of Wicklow. Malcolm Earls the Mayor of Wicklow talked to Declan on the phone about the recent scandal of a badly beaten horse that had to be put down. The picture of the mare’s foal went viral on social networking. Laura Haugh of www.mummypages.ie was in studio to talk to Declan about her top toy picks for Christmas and how to deal with kids who are faddy eaters around the holiday season. 10am hour: 11am – 12 Comedian Neil Delamare was in studio chatting about his upcoming tour “Smart Bomb” and his January 30th gig in Wicklow at the Grand. He gave Declan a bit of insight into the way he turns conflict and arguments from real life into comedy. Blogger and journalist Barbara Scully brought her Christmas cheer into Declan to give a run-down on her best book ideas for Christmas pressies. Se├ín Olahan dropped by with the Wicklow Hospice Charity CD and Declan played it on air. 11am hour:

Tuesday 10th December The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Irish Times Journalist Peter Murtagh from inside the stadium of Nelson Mandelas memorial service and we heard the latest on CRC and the new whistleblowers from FG Deputy and PAC member Simon Harris. We also discussed the appalling beating of a horse in Wicklow with Sharon Newsome, Irish Horse Welfare Trust 11-12 •We were joined in studio by Craig Doyle who chatted about his latest TV work, the rugby and the Fair this weekend in Enniskerry he has organised in the Schoolhouse to raise funds for the school you can see www.enniskerry.ie and we also heard finance tips from Money Watchdog John Diskin.

Monday 9th December The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard how 1.7 million people will this year eat foreign turkeys and talked about the importance of buying Irish with Wicklow Turkey Breeder Orla Salley and we heard from Peter Porter another award winning Christmas Tree Grower who is doing his bit for charity. 11am-12pm •We were joined in studio by bestselling authors Sarah Webb and Martina Devlin who gave us their tips on books for adults and children as Christmas presents and Local singers Andrew Mann and Robbie Doyle dropped in to perform live ahead of their charity gig this Thursday in Martello.
