We were alos joined in studio by Science Journalist and Author Sean Duke who talked about his new book ‘Irish Scientists who have changed the World’ 11am –midday •We were joined in studio by Frances Black who was our Friday Guest and Conor Mc Keown dropped in with Esosa Ighodora to perform live ahead of their gig in National Concert Hall on November 19th, all profits from the concert will be donated to the 3T’s Turn the Tide of Suicide,, see www.3ts.ie

We also heard about the Beatles Festvial which starts today to celebrate their gig here 50 years ago from Festival Organiser Stephen Kennedy and we spoke to Andy Halpin who was actually there at the gig. We also heard how new planned UTV TV station might impact TV3 and RTE from Michael Foley, Journalism Lecturer in DIT and Charlie Weston, Personal Finance Editor, Irish Independent told us why drivers will face insurance hikes. 11am –midday •We were joined in studio by Pam McCann from My Canine Companion and Eileen O’ Toole Mum and carer of four, they talk about the difference specifically trained dogs can make to children with special needs and Arklow PP Fr Martin Cosgorve talked about potential changes to Blasphemy in the constitution and a special mass being held this Saturday evening at 7pm in St Mary and Peters Church in Arklow for people effected by the recession.

Tuesday 6th November 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10am - 11am We spoke to Irish Times Consumer editor, Conor Pope about the continuing confusion over property tax payment methods and Avation Journalist and Author Gerry Byrne gave his views on a ‘softer’ Ryanair and potential Industrial Action in Aer Lingus. We also heard about the release of a photo of a young unidentified girl feared to have been involved in sex trafficking and the ‘sweetie’ sting from Child Protection Expert Shane Dunphy and we heard tips on keeping the kids helahty in the cold weather and useful home remedy ideas from Emma Parkin Editor, Easy Parenting and Caroline Grey, Editorial Assistant, Easy Food. 11am –midday We were joined in the studio by Laura Haugh, Mummy-in-residence at www.mummypages.ie who talked about their fundraising cookbook ‘Mums Baking Book’ and we caught up with award winning Investigative Journalist Darragh McIntyre about last nights BBC/RTE programme ‘The Disappeared’ which can be seen on RTE Player. We also spoke to Tree Hunter, Aubrey Fennell about the tallest tree in Ireland being in Powerscourt.

Monday 4th November 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10am - 11am We spoke to Irish Daily Star Soccer Correspondent Paul Lennon about the ‘Dream Team’ of Roy Keane and Martin O’ Neill and we also heard the views of Pat Devlin who also talked about Bray Wanderers success at the weekend. We discussed the new height restrictions on lorries with Tom Shortt, IFA Wicklow Chairman, Gerry McMahon of Irish Road Haulier Association and FG Deputy Andrew Doyle and Mary O’ Brien, Founder of Arklow Cancer Support Centre and Maisie Dillon, book contributor dropped in to talk about their first fundraising book which will be launched on Thursday night at the Arklow Bay Hotel. 11am –midday We were joined in the studio by Parenting Coach Marian Byrne who gave advice on giving children chores and singer/songwriter Fiach Moriarty joined us to perform live. We were also joined by Bray native Mark Keating who has just returned from a charity cycle from Bray to Belgrade for which he fiundraised for two childrens charities, for more information see www.whitewaterfoundation.org
