Friday 27th September 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard about Google being 15 years old from Siliconrepublic.com Editor John Kennedy and we heard a review of todays newspapers from Bray people Journalist Mary Fogarty and Journalist and TV Producer Lisa Marie Berry. We were also joined in studio by abuse survivor and People of the year winner Fiona Doyle who talked about her book ‘Too Many Tears’. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Screenwriter, Author and Journalist Michael Sheridan who talked about his life, career and latest book about Richard Harris “A man named Harris”. We also heard about the monument being unveiled tomorrow to commemorate Mark O’Shaughnessy and Brian Murray, the two Bray fire-fighters who lost their lives in September 2007.

Science Journalist Sean Duke joined us to discuss the science of smell and ASTI Standing Committee member for Wicklow Margaret Kinsella gave her view on latest with teachers. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Vet Pete Wedderburn for pet care advice and we discussed the 9 biggest diet lies and why women cheat with Xpose Magazine Editor Deanna o’ Connor. We spoke to Met Eireann Head of Research Ray Mc Grath who told us why we can expect hotter summers but wetter winters.

We heard about investment pieces and High Street versions of this years best bags, coats and boots from Escape Boutique’s Sorcha Murphy. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Bray based Children Author who talked about her debut self-published book The Secrets of Grindlewood and Local GP Dr Ciara Kelly gave us her view on a report that stated cholesterol drugs can sometimes do more harm then good. We also returned to our discussion about the Greystones Harbour with Councillors Tom Fortune and Derek Mitchell.

We also returned to the discussion about the future of Greystones Harbour with Councillor Derek Mitchell and Tom Fortune. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Sunday Business Post Deputy and Political Editor Pat Leahy who chatted about his latest book The Price of Power and Threatscape MD, Dermot Williams talked to us about the new iphone fingerprint scanner being hacked and being safe and aware on line.

We also heard about carbon monoxide awareness week from Garrett Blaney, Commissioner with Commission for Energy Regulation. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Parenting Coach Marian Byrne to talk about grandparents and we got an update on Elaine O’ Hara from Crime Reporter, Paul Willams and we heard details from last nights stabbing in Tallaght from Herald News Reporter, Niall O’ Connor. We also heard about Bank of Irelands latest raise in fees for the over 60’s and advice on investments from Irish Times Consumer Expert Conor Pope.
