Friday 16th August 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard a review of the papers from Journalist and Vincent Browne Producer Lisa Marie Berry and we heard about the latest cancer stats from Dr Harry Comber of National Cancer Registry. We were also joined in studio by Author Maria Duffy who chatted about her new book “The Letter” 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Joe and Conor Duggan who chatted about their recently new pub, the Harbour Bar and Holiday doc Joe Supple gave tips on luxury spa breaks. We alos met Wicklow cancer Survivor Mary Margaret Molloy who talked about her illness and her fundraising gig taking place in The Grand Hotel in Wicklow on 17th August from 830pm, with all proceeds going to Cancer Clinical and Research Trust. Tickets are available from Track One Music store or on the door on the night.

We also heard pet care tips from Vet Pete Wedderburn. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Science Bloggr Sean Duke who explained that the more power you have the less empathy you will have and Tech consultant Damien Mulley explained why your email may not be as private as you think. Blogger Barabara Scully joined us to give her views on the recent ban on eulogies in Meath and the aftermath of leaving cert hysteria.

Wednesday 14th August 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard reaction to Rob Heffernans’ win from Rathdrum based runner Bill Porter and Crime reporter and Author Paul Williams gave us his view on the conviction and sentencing of John Dundon. We also discussed the leaving cert results with Wicklow based Guidance Counsellor Patricia Wroe and Michael Macnamara from the Developmental Department, Griffith College. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Author Louise Philips who talked abut her book Dolls House and we caught up with Hazel O’ Connor ahead of her mini-preview gig in The Happy Pear on Thursday night ahead of her Edinborough show this weekend. We also spoke to Limerick Independent Councillor John Gilligan about the difference John Dundon’s sentencing will make to Limerick.

Barry Kenny, Iarnroid Eireann filled us in on the reason for ths mornings dart delay. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio Parenting Coach Marian Byrne who gave advice on dealing with bored kids and students receiving the leaving cert results and Irish Independent Personal Finance Editor Charlie Weston gave a breakdown of the expense of sending a child to college. We were also joined by Boyband Taken.
