Friday 2nd August July 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We were joined in the RNLI lifeboat station in Arklow by Former Rugby International Shane Byrne, Wicklow news.net Editor, Mick Kelly and RNLI spokesperson Mark Corcoran about this weeks news. We also spoke to Alistair Rumble who runs the National Sailing School in Dunlaoighre and is the Marine Co-ordinator on Vikings. We were also joined by singer Donna Dunne and her band for a live performance. 11am -midday •We spoke to Jimmy Tyrell about the history and future of the RNLI and Celebrity Gardener Diarmuid Gavin dropped down to be our Friday guest. We also tasted some weekend wines with Brendan McGuinness from Next Door wines while his daughter Cathy Mc Guinness performed for us.

We also discussed the recent horrendous twitter abuse with Blogger Barbara Scully and Practice PR CEO Jillian Godsil. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Alan Rossiter, Blacklion Pet Hospital in Greystones fro pet care advice and we also spoke to Wicklow man Ptrick Strahan about his early life in St Kierans boys home in Rathdrum and his planned walk of the Wicklow Way on September 14th in memory of his friend Michael O’ Rourke who passed away from Brain cancer last year and to raise money and awareness for Laura Lynn Foudation. Wednesday 31st July 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard more on roadworks in Arklow impacting on local businesses from Bridge Hotel Manager, Pat Hoey and Local FG Councillor Sylvestour Bourke. We also spoke to Child Safety Expert, Shane Dunphy following the deaths of two little boys from Carlow and Wexford songwriter Alice Lynskey dropped in tot alk about having a song on the Hit performed by The Stunning. 11am -midday •We discussed upcoming gathering events in Wicklow and heard a final rundown for the Bray Summerfest and we had a live performance with Wicklow singer and Ri Sessions winner Joe O’ Connor.

Tuesday 30th July 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard from News reporter Zara King who was in Ballinkillen in Carlow last night and News Reporter Fergal O’ Brien in Westport to get the latest details unfolding of the tragic death of two little boys. We also discussed the Arklow traffic issues caused by the roadworks and the impact that is having on local business with Dairin Murphy, Bridgewater Centre, John Coburn, Delightfully Deliscous Deli and Frank Duffy of Duffys Pharmacies. 11am -midday •We discussed sibling rivalry with Emma Parkin, Easy Parenting and got tips on keeping the kids busy in the kitchen this weekend from Dee Laffin, Easy Food and Wicklow beekeeper Tony Lyons told us about how the recent heatwave has revived a falling bee population. We also heard tribute paid to Sports Broadcaster, Colm Murray after he passed away earlier following a battle with Motor Neurone disease.
