Friday 12th July 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Met Eireann’s John Eagleton ahead of this weekends weather and we spoke to Labour Deputy Anne Ferris about last nights vote. We also were joined in studio by close pals of Robbie Robinson, James Brock and Robert Taylor and members of the Cujo Family, also friends of Robbie’s who will perform live at the fundraising gig at the Esplanade Hotel tonight. We also spoke to Ciaran Byrne 6 days into the 7 day 7 marathon challenge he did to fundraise for Wicklow Hospice Foundation and Andrew Mann joined us in studio to perform live ahead of his summerfest gig tonight.

Thursday 11th July 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Girl against Flouride, Aisling Fitzgibbon ahead of her protest at the Dail today and we discussed the future of Wicklow rural transport with two Rathdrum listeners who use the rural transport bus and Breda Whelan, manager of Wicklow Rural Transport. We were also joined in studio by Science Blogger Sean Duke who talked about why nostalgia can be good for us. 11am -midday •We spoke to John Leech, CEO Irish Water Safety about safe swimming and being wary of the water following recent tragic drownings and we talked to Veronica O’ Leary about the news that cancer patients who are not terminal will no longer be guaranteed a medical card. We were also joined in studio by Vet Pete Wedderburn who told us how to take care of pets in the warm weather.

We also heard the latest ahead of tonights vote on abortion legislation from Political Correspondent, Padraig Gallagher and we spoke to Martina Robinson, whose son Robbie is in a coma in Thailand after a tragic fall. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Travel Writer Muriel Bolger who chatted about her latest fiction book “The Captains Table” and we also heard sun warnings and sun safe advice from Greystones GP Dr Ciara Kelly.

We also discussed Wimbeldon winner with tennis enthusiast Owen Dawson and Independent Deputy Stephen Donnelly talked with Financial Consultant Eddie Hobbs ahead of his debt seminar in the Royal Hotel on Saturday 13th July. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Parenting Coach Marian Byrne who gave tips on keeping the kids busy during the summer hols and Consumer Journalist Conor Pope talked about generic medicines. We were also joined in studio by band Fresh Re who performed live ahead of the Summerfest gig this weekend.
