Friday 21st June 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We were joined in studio by Bray People journalist Mary Fogarty who reviewed the papers and a big week in Wicklow and Labour TD Anne Ferris dropped in to talk about domestic violence and the resignation of local Councilors Barry Nevin and Tom Fortune from the Labour Party. 11am -midday •We spoke to Best Job in the world winner, Arklow born Allan Dixon in Sydney and we were joined in studio by Wicklows’ newest Independent Councillors to explain their decision to leave the Party. Local Band Empire Saints dropped in to perform live and to celebrate National Live Music Day.

Wednesday 19th June 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to George McClafferty, Manager of Glendalough Visitors Centre about being one of only three people from the County to meet with Mrs Obama and her two children on her visit to Wicklow and we discussed Smartphone preferences with Broadcaster and techie enthusiasts Liam Quigly and Ryan O’ Neill. We also spoke to concerned listeners about the new rules being enforced in Springfield Cemetery that prohibits flowers, ornaments and windchimes from the graves of their loved ones. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Author Ann Marie Casey who talked about her debut novel An Englishwoman in New York and how she met her husband, fellow Author Joseph O’ Connor and we discussed how the Michelle Obama visit could be used to promote Wicklow tourism with Kevin Moriarty from Failte Ireland and Tom Fortune, Chairman of Wicklow County Tourism.

Thursday 20th June 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard reaction to the Coillte’s harvesting rights being saved from Independent Deputy Stephen Donnelly and Training coach from Mountaineering Club, Tony Barry who walks quite a bit in Wicklow. We returned to the issue surrounding new rules at Springfield Cemetery, we spoke to News Editor Garret Farrell from the protest and were joined in studio by listener Veronica, whose brother is buried there. We also spoke to Tech Doctor Richie O’ Shea about roaming charges and switching 3G off. 11am -midday •We heard tips for value breaks from Holiday doc Joe Supple and we heard how to make home-made bread and lemonade from Chef Siobhan Donnelly. Vet Pete Wedderburn dropped in to answer listeners pet queries.

Monday 17th June 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We discussed health insurance with Dermot Goode of www.healthinsurancesavings.ie and Glendalough Hotelier Pat Casey and Pauline Fhaey from Brockagh Resource Centre filled us in on what they know about the First Lady’s impending visit to Glemdalough tomorrow and paid tribute to young local, Niall Lynam who lost his life in an accident over the weekend. We also caught up with Wicklow manager, Harry Murphy about last Saturdays game and ahead of the draw for the qualifiers. 11am -midday •We discussed mothers feeling like they have to be superwoman and putting impossible expectations on themselves with parenting coach Marian Byrne and Author Gemma Jackson dropped in about her book “Streets Broad and Narrow”
