Friday 17th May 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Paul Lennon, Sports Correspondent, Irish Daily Star and Maire Scully, Head of Sports Marketing and Sponsorship with Ogilvy PR about the end of Becks playing Football and his brand. We were also joined in studio by Tom Curran who spoke about their battle for his partner Marie Fleming’s right to die. 11am -midday •We were joined by Rugby International Shane Byrne ahead of the big rugby weekend and BOD’s decision to stay one more year and Author John Boyne dropped in to talk about his latest book. Sean Millar also dropped in to perform live ahead of his gig in the Grand Social on Wednesday 22nd May.

Wednesday 15th May 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Dr Donal O Shea, Consultant Endocrinologist from Columcilles Hospital and Steve Mc Mahon from the Irish Patients Association about the hospital report and we were joined in studio Stephen and Davd Flynn from the Happy Pear in Greystones for a chat about health drinks and how some are not really that healthy! We also spoke to AA’s Conor Faughnan about the alleged petrol price fixing story and Wicklow News.net Journalist Mick Kelly gave us an update on the explosion in Arklow. 11am -midday •We heard helpful advice on dealing with IBS from Greystones Dietician Gillian Mc Connell and we were joined in studio by Bray author Emma Hannigan who talked about having the bcra1 gene and her extensive surgery to try and combat it.

Tuesday 14th May 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to ESRI Researcher Dr Petra Gerlach about her report about under 45’s being hit so much harder in the recession then older people, we also views of our listeners on the report. We also discussed the role social media had in the popularity of astronaut Chris Hadfield with Technology consultant Damien Mulley and Bray woman Margaret told us her experience of having a double masectomy following Angelina Jolie’s account of her surgery and having the BRAC1 gene in the New York Times. 11am -midday •We heard from Wicklow native David Whelan who has had to leave his family to work in Canada and we were joined in studio by Garden Designer Tim Austen dropped in to talk about the garden he is designing for Bloom Festival 2013. We were also joined by Money Watchdog John Diskin who gave advice on dealing with hidden bank charges.

Monday 13th May 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Bus Eireann PR Manager, Andrew Mc Lindon about the strikes and Caroline Mc Guigan from Suicide or Survive who paid tribute to Donal Walsh who passed away following a brave fight with cancer and had called to young people who may be considering suicide to appreciate life. We also heard a review of BAFTA fashion from Sorcha Murphy, Escape Boutique and the awards from Reporter and DJ Laura Wood. 11am -midday •We heard some of the weirdest questions people can ask in interviews and how to deal with them from Dr Cary Cooper, professor of organisational Psychology and Author of 50 things you can do today to manage stress at work and we discussed growing emigration with listeners who have left Wicklow for work or have a family member who has.
