Declan spoke to Deirdre Cullen, Senior Statistician with the Central Statistics Office about the trends in Wicklow from the 2011 Census. Dr Ciara Kelly was on the line to chat to Declan about what happens when patients develop antibodies against Botox treatments. Novelist Kate Kerrigan was in studio to talk to Declan about her latest novel Land Of Dreams about Irish emigrants to the U.S. and her success in getting on the New York Times bestseller list.

Anne Ferris Wicklow Labour T.D. came on to tell Declan about an announcement of more funding made available to Primary and Secondary schools in Bray for new building projects. Pete Wedderburn of Brayvet was today’s Friday guest. He told Declan about travelling the world working in as a vet, his career as a media vet and how he came to live in Ireland. With lots going on for the Bank Holiday weekend, Declan spoke to Ben Dalton, PRO of the Ballyknockan Hillbilly Festival and Jimmy Russell who is organizing the East Coast Classic Car Run. On the show today Declan spoke to Dermot Goode of website www.healthinsurancesavings.ie about increases in health insurance premiums and new hospital charges being levied in casualty for minor injuries. Jim Callery from the environmental office of Wicklow County Council talked to Declan about their policy on charity clothing collections in County Wicklow. Fine Gael TD Simon Harris gave Declan a run-down on last night’s Fine Gael parliamentary party meeting on the abortion issue. Science blogger and journalist Sean Duke explained the science behind the practice of mindfulness and also talked about a new health check based on breath-testing. Chef and restauranteur Siobhan Donnelly talked to Declan about safety tips and some great recipes for the first barbeques of the summer season. East Coast FM’s Holiday Doc, Joe Supple chatted to Declan about the new Marker Hotel in Dublin, and also about visiting Belfast and the Titanic Museum. Gary Dempsey of Bray Wanderers brought us up to date on the charity fun run for the hospice. In studio with Declan was Andrew Mann of the Voice of Ireland to perform and chat about his career.

We also heard tips on getting the kids away from their technology from Parenting Coach Marian Byrne. 11am -midday •We discussed the difficulties facing xtra-vision with Silicon Republic, Editor John Kennedy and East Coast Physio Avril Barrett joined us in studio to give advice on gardening injuries. Money Watchdog John Diskin dropped in to give top ten tips on property tax as the deadline is looming.
