Friday 26th April 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Independent Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett and Andrew St Ledger, Woodlands League, the Co-organisers of the Walk in the woods taking place at Avondale House and forest in Rathdrum this Sunday to oppose the proposed sale of coillte and we spoke to Hot Press journalist, Roisin Dwyer about the festivals line up for this summer. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by Peter Van Der Made who talked about his new book, Higher Intelligence, which tells the story of a 10-year breakthrough R&D project to build an 'artificial brain' chip that will help computers learn like the human brain and Mary Byrne joined us to sing and chat about her upcoming gig and life after X-factor.

We also heard comment on the rise in alcohol related liver disease in young people and sports sponsorship from Professor Joe Barry, TCD dept of public health medicine. 11am -12 •We were joined in studio by Author Janet E. Cameron who talked about her book “Cinnamon Toast and the End of the World”`and Crime Reporter Michael O’ Toole filled us in on the latest from Garda Adrian Donohoe murder case. Larry Fleming, IPPN talked also about their proposal to change the entry requirements to primary schools.

Tuesday 23rd April 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Money Watchdog John Diskin and Evening Herald Features Editor Dee O’ Keefe about the potential rise in pension age to 68 and we spoke to Conor Faughnan, AA about motorists spreading payments of tax and fuel over longer periods of time. 11am -12 •We were joined in studio by local musician Conor Linnie who performed live and Eric Dempsey joined us from Birds Ireland to talk about Springtime birds. We also spoke to Stephn Kinsella, Economics Lecturer in University of Limerick and author of Ireland in 2050 about the apparent end to austerity and the possible pension changes.
