We also heard about the science of older parents from Science blogger Sean Duke. 11- 12pm •We caught up with Mick Nolan and Brid Keogh about the end of Wicklow’s Operation Transformation and discussed value breaks with holiday doc Joe Supple. Vet Pete Wedderburn talked about cat lovers and owners of multiple pets.

Wednesday 27th February 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard the latest on Marie Fleming case with Court Reporter Francesca Cumin and Elaine Burke, Silicon Republic talked about proposed changes to the TV licence fee to an ‘entertainment charge’ We also discussed Oscars fashion with Escape Boutirque’s Sorcha Murphy and the importance of English competency among doctors with A&E Consultant Dr Chris Luke and Irish Patients Association Chairperson Steve Mc Mahon. 11- 12pm •We heard reaction to the planned end to the disability mobility allowance scheme from Alan Dunne, Deputy CEO Disability Federation of Ireland and FG Deputy Simon Harris and we chatted to Wicklow MontessorI Principal Dara Mulhall about the curriculum and system.

We also heard the details of the suspected murder-suicide in Carlow from Irish independent Security Editor Tom Brady and we heard why over 100 people have been rescued from Wicklow Mountains over the last 5 days from Brendan Berine, Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue. 11- 12pm •We were joined in studio by bestselling Author Patricia Scanlan who chatted about her latest book ‘With all my Love’ and Wicklow based cellist and singer Vyvienne Long dropped in to perform with the Balanescu Quartet ahead of her upcoming Mermaid gig.

We also talked about job creation with Labour Deputy Anne Ferris and Mark Fielding, ISME and heard all the Oscar gossip from East Coast fm presenter and reporter Laura Wood. 11- 12pm •We were joined in studio by singer Ryan Sheridan who performed new single ‘Upside Down’ and Retail Ireland Director, Stephen Lynam talked about the large difference in prices of clothes between the UK and Ireland.
