Friday 11th January 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We heard details of that multi-crash collision on the N11 from Wicklow Journalist Mick Kelly and we also heard about the Oscar nominations from Freshly Squeezed Presenter, Laura Wood. We were joined in studio by Easy Health and Easy Food Editors who talked about why paying attention food labeling can help when losing weight and why you may not be losing weight. 11- 12pm We heard from Science Blogger Sean Duke and some Wicklow participants at the Young Scientists Exhibition and David Pennefeather joined us as our Friday guest.

Thursday 10th January 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We discussed the cuts to funding for panic alarms for the elderly with Eamon Timmins, Age Action Ireland, FG Deputy Billy Timmins and FF Councillor Pat Doran. We also heard about the new football rules from Wicklow Manager, Harry Murphy and Tech Doc Richie O’ Shea gave us his top apps of the month and advuce in dealing with mishaps with your gadgets. 11- 12pm •We heard about the asteroid that had a ‘near miss’ with Earth last night from David Moore, Astronomy Ireland and Vet Pete Wedderburn talked about penguins and Dublin Zoo. We also discussed paying for mocks exam papers ans markings with Guidance Counsellor and career journalist, Patricia Wroe and National Parents Council Post Primary Press Officer, Jackie O’ Callaghan.

Wednesday 9th January 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard about expected cold snap from Met Eireanns Gerry Murphy and spoke to Wicklow Operation Transformation participants following the first episode of season 5 aired last night. We also heard about the tummy bugs, colds and flus that dominated lots of houses over Christmas and why they were so hard to shake from Local GP Dr Ciara Kelly. 11- 12pm •We heard about planned strike action and disputes within Bus Eireann from NBRU General Secretary Michael Faherty and Bus Eireann PR Manager, Andrew Mc Lindon and Irish Independent Personal Security Editor Charlie Weston talked about the further 20% the property market is expected to fall this year.

Tuesday 8th January 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard details of planned cuts to Gardai from Irish Independent, Security Editor, Tom Brady and we discussed proposed penalties for cyclists that flout the rules of the road with Sunday Independent Journalist Liam Collins and Chair of the Dublin Cycling Campaign. We also heard about the impact being felt by students who are still waiting for their grant from Wicklow mum and USI President John Logue. 11- 12pm •We heard why 6th year students who do sport may have a greater chance at getting higher Leaving Cert points from Dr John Bradley, Lecturer in Exercise, Physiology and Coaching Science, UCC and Hot Press Journalist, Stuart Clarke gave us his view on David Bowie and his new single, released overnight for his birthday. We also heard how people starting a New Year exercise regime could avoid injury from East Coast Physio.

Monday 7th January 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am We heard details of the tragic death of an elderly woman in a fire in Bray over the weekend from Mayor Mick Glynn and Wicklow County Council Senior Engineer, Andrew Lawless gave advice on getting rid of the Christmas Tree. We were also joined in studio by Blogger Barbara Scully who reviewed popular self help books for the new year. 11- 12pm Parenting Coach Marian Byrne dropped in to give tips on getting the kids back into the routine after Christmas and Local Auctioneer Gabriel Mooney joined us to give his views on the latest details on the property tax. Author James O’ Donovan talked about how you ca sane €5000 this year and next and we spoke to the next door neighbour of the house that was in that tragic fire.
